I believe Sunak would be a shoo in if he was white, but the Tories MPs have a real dilemma facing them since Liz Truss is the other main candidate, so they`ll have to balance England`s rampant racism against the nation`s institutional sexism.

    Oh dear G.G.

  2. All based on old firm nonsense unfortunately, My biggest disappointment was Roy and the team not being allowed to run to the fans with the cup 1968 and do a lap of honour because of what went on the year before

No Dorans and seemingly Jones is favoured above Gasputis who doesn't even make the Bench. Delighted that Lewis Martin has made the bench though

Delighted for Lewis as well .. hope he kicks on from here

Tbh this only allowing 500 fans into a game is nonesense and all the other businesses like food and hospitality must be taking a big hit at this time of year.

But we can travel 2 hours down the road to England.. enjoy a football match, go to the pub and stay down there… drive back up and can’t take a derby day game in🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
Wee slurpy Sturgeon has a lot to answer for with those ridiculous rules.

Have to agree S.P. but England are now at the point of no return and the next few weeks will determine who was right and who was wrong

I honestly believe that Boris was feart to impose any restrictions after the party shenanigans from his ilk last year

  5. Another Side Tae Hogmanay

Brunswick’s jukebox plays a background serenade, theme fae Peyton Place

He sits and sips his Vat Sixty Nine, an he hears a scream in every silent face

Or maybe its the whistle fae the train he hear’s, back when he was still small

He imagines his Mam putting her lipstick on at the mirror wi ducks on the wall

The Ghost of not knowing, still following him about, singing Beatles songs

The Companion set is in the fireplace, on a stand, brush shovel and tongs

He see’s the blue sky and feels the breeze, hears the wind like a wee lad

He imagines his Mam’s laugh like waves caressing the shore an feels sad

Dad studies the evening news and marks three horses wi his parker pen

Glances up fae the two mile chase an says yer lookin braw the night hen

She pretended tae be embarrassed hearing words she knew tae be true

He remembers Hogmanay’s wi his Mam and Dad, knows they were too few

The lazy wind blows through, as Winter bites hard but his overcoat is empty

Behind his private door, the well that holds aw the tears, empties gently

He sits and waits as the bells draw near, watches the candle slowly burn

He imagines them all back together again, but knows they can never return

  6. I followed this case and read witness accounts from the club bouncers, members of the public and the taxi driver .. The Lassie would not let it go to establish she was sexually abused while unable to respond, and good on her, all the witness accounts verify that

I would not let Goodwillie any where near my dog

That was a poor watch today, even allowing for the fact it was played in a soul-less, empty stadium. For me, only Jordan and Raymie (once he sorted his mic) on Pars TV got pass marks. Arbroath allowed us as much possession as we wanted, but we rarely looked like doing anything with it. They kept their shape and bided their time, to great effect.

Will Arbroath win this league? I doubt they'll last the distance. They have a small squad ( I think their strikers are on loan from Falkirk?! and Livi.) and other teams won't gift them a goal of a start and roll over, like we did today.

Hope your wrong G.G. I would love the Lichtie's to win this leauge,  on form they deserve to - and happy for the bunnet he deserves it

  9. I was at the 5-3 game G.G. But canny remember Collins playing that day .. I don't think he was even in the squad,  I might be wrong tho,

BTW yer just a Laddie 😉

    This from google :-

At Leeds, he established a formidable partnership with the manager Don Revie, who signed him for £25,000 in March 1962. Revie later described him as "the best signing I ever made. Leeds can never thank him enough for the transformation he brought to the club." Collins recalled: "Don knew that good pros had good habits and I think that's what he was hoping to instil when he signed me. One of the great things about the boss was the way he built up a comradeship. We all loved him because he treated us properly and commanded our utmost respect. He also knew how to build a team."
