I heard it myself after the Hamilton game from two different people who had both heard it from the same person, who funnily enough is friends with our vice chairman. Let's hope no truth is in it and hes on the wind up.

The guy who is leaking out most of the stuff is very close to someone on the board and hopefully the germans will get rid of him very shortly. It's not coming from the director directly.

Yes I think it will be financial suicide if it is true and a lot of fans will cancel their lifeline We should find out if it's true tomorrow and if they do back him,the board of directors have some serious questions to answer. If some directors have the best interests of the club at heart,they should walk away be thanked for their efforts for saving the club etc and let the new owners try to move the club on in the future.

Think a board meeting has been called for tomorrow, not sure if the germans are flying over or just a zoom call. Peter Grant expected to be gone by tomorrow night.

Will petrie be interested in the job? He might have taken it after Crawford left and be able to bring in his own players but now he would be coming in to a club that's in an absolute mess. He has a good job in the bank and probably enjoys being manager at a part time club. I would personally want to bring in a manager that has been involved in full time football before. The club were close to giving the job to someone else in the summer and went down to a final day of interviews. Any managerial appointment is a risk but the board need to get this one spot on and get the fans back on side. Do I trust the board in getting the big calls correct? No I think a lot of fans would be happy with yogi getting the job and so would I. Yes he relegated Raith but he has been a success at Falkirk,Inverness and Ross County. We need a proper manager in this time and let him bring in his own coaching team and not this working with what is already here. I am afraid Shields has to follow Grant out the door. Yogi would be a risk but he has a better CV and experience than petrie.

Yes we will be forever grateful for the board for saving the club but so did the fans,we all put in thousands of our money and we put in money every year through season tickets and lifelines etc. It was bad decisions from the board giving AJ a 2 year deal which made us financially unstable and had to be bailed out by 2 directors and we were close to entering a second administration. The Stevie Crawford appointment was made due to being the cheapest option and the club being skint but we backed him and gave him a chance. The board should have seen that when Callum Davidson came in from Stoke that it was him that changed our form and started that winning streak. It would have been a big call from them but they should have made him manager and stevie assistaint, Callum has went on to be the best manager in Scotland. Stevie took us as far as he could even stevie seen that himself but the board thought he deserved a new contract, another poor footballing decision. Stevie done the correct thing and moved on. Then they have 82 people apply for the job but decide to go for someone who didnt apply for the job and has just been relegated from our league. Ross ignored those applicants and listened to his pal Mike Mulraney and appointed Grant and now we are in a complete mess. Some of the decisions at boardroom level have been baffling and have stopped us progressing. It was Ross and the board who had the five year plan to get us back to the premiership which we are miles off. The fans aren't expecting much all we wanted was a half decent managerial appointment and a team that is challenging at the top of the league. I think Ross is a decent guy and does try his best for the club but I dont agree with the big calls he has made.

Peter Grant shouldnt have been appointed in the first place by the BOD and he should be away from the club already, he wont turn this around I am afraid. If they give him anymore time it will just get worse and we will end up like Falkirk a few seasons ago and back to square one again. The board have been serving us up dross for years. The mood in the camp cant be good at all when you have players wanting to leave (Watson and Thomas).

If we get beat tomorrow surely Peter Grant has to go and it will give us two weeks to bring in the new manager before the killie game. If it's a draw It will be interesting to see what the board will decide to do. If we come back from Dumfries with the three points, will it just delay the inevitable with the majority of fans? I wasnt meaning Connolly was rubbish, I meant Grant has already signed 3 centre backs and two of them haven't been up to championship standard. Why should the board give him more money to spend on that position when he isn't getting the best out of the ones he signed? Connolly had a good game last night. That's one example of dorrans but I have seen him play every game and he looks off the pace at times, he shouldnt have even been playing when he first signed for us wasnt match ready but that was Grant's call. A one year deal would have been fine for dorrans not two.

Rhys breen should be available for selection in October,he has had a hard time of it but he is now back in training and hopefully see what standard he is soon. Leon Jones was signed to be competing for a first team place and has had two starts so far but didnt impress me much at Ayr away thought he was to blame for their first goal. He only has a 1 year contract so wouldnt be much point in loaning him out? Maybe a loan to league one until January and then he will replace Connolly when he returns to United? Ross Graham isn't at this level yet best thing for him would be to return to Dundee United. There must be potential in Graham otherwise he wouldnt have got a 4 year deal and he was highly rated at cove. The boy needs to step down a level and build up his confidence again. Connolly is maybe a replacement for Paul Watson,I know Watson wasnt enjoying playing under Grant and is now maybe wanting to leave. Peter Grant has signed some utter dross for us so far and some of them are on 2 year contracts. Mehmet is probably the worst goalkeeper I have seen at east end and that's including Chris Smith. Had he not only made 29 appearances before signing for us? That should have set the alarm bells ringing. Graham Dorrans has started to improve the last few games but still dont think his performances merit a 2 year deal with us. I dont think he has the legs to last till may 2023. Connolly might prove to play a vital role in the team but if I was on the board I wouldnt have let grant spend any more of the budget, he has wasted enough already on rubbish. Meggle maybe has to take the blame for some of these signings aswell?

If we keep on giving teams that amount of space on the wings we are going to get punished for it.

We are being opened up far too easily especially on the right. I said this at the Inverness game that we were too open at right side but was told by the boy next to me teams cant score from the wing?! The defence have been poor,could and should be 3 down.

They have already let Grant sign Leon Jones,Rhys Breen and Ross Graham in that position. Gaspuitis and Watson have looked a solid enough pairing in the last two games,I wouldn't change them two at the moment and if you do change it you have plenty of other centre backs to pick from.

I dont understand why the board have sanctioned this, we are clearly needing a midfielder or attacker in over another defender.

Lewis Martin has also left the club after not having his short term contract renewed. Rhys Breen should be back in October. Graham maybe heading back to United and dropping down to league one? Still a lot of defenders on the books.

Mark Connolly joins on loan from Dundee United until January and is available for selection tonight.
