Mr Mac
So is it the best thing since sliced bread or a pi**-boiling pain in the ass?Personally I have a strong dislike for the festival period, probably influenced by my work going crazy for the full month. People look at me like I'm daft when I say I just want to get on the train home instead of "catching a show" and wild horses wouldn't drag me back on my days off!Rather happy the fireworks are on a Monday this year as it would have been "my" event to manage at work on the Sunday night ?? Superally
Would enjoy it even more if we didn't have to leave stuff early to get the last train home
Piracy
I avoid it like the plague, pubs are too busy
Parzionale
It does my head in. The wierdies come oot the sea and should just 'get back in the sea!'
VSPar
I can't abide Edinburgh during the festival. I work right in the city centre, it drives me up the wall having to try and get about when it's so busy. I am off the last week in August, always try to take at least a week off in August so I can avoid it.
Vinnie
I like that there is a great atmosphere but that is occasionally negated by how busy it is. Kind of glad I work in the West End and travel home from the West End so don't have to deal with too much of how busy it can get.
