  1. It's a great organisation, have helped my brother in law immensely, he started attending Dunfermline at my wife's suggestion and is now one of the facilitators at Stenhousemuir.
  2. Probably a slip of the tongue as in doesn't know if it's one that will keep him out of the team or if not "chancing it" means Jakubiak is available for the next game...
  3. Absolutely abhorrent that this incident has occurred. That it has demonstrates why the club needs to control the story when changes are being made to things that mean something to fans. Putting out a tweet beforehand saying that the Legends wall needed some TLC and the club were going to take the opportunity to refresh it would have prevented any thoughts that the clubs heritage was being disrespected and the horrible incident likely wouldn't have occurred. Having heard David Cook speak, I've no doubt he wants to see the club flourish and will want to make the most of commercial opportunities but only those that are right for the club.
  4. https://twitter.com/officialdafc/status/1690075640555323392?t=_hp2zYar_JQqmWGwIBHLig&s=19 Ben Summers on loan
  5. Wonder who it's going to be?
  6. They are both proper late 80's - early 90's keeper kits... quite like them.
  7. I've heard O'Hara was offered a deal and would like to stay but it's all about game time.
  8. We need to find a "Crawford" to his "Brewster"...
  9. Red Stripe, like many drinks used to be a nice pint, iirc was 5.5 or 6% when I was late teens/ early 20's. Last time I had it I wasn't impressed, many brewers have altered their products to below 5% for duty reasons...
  10. This from Greg Dyke sums it up...
  11. I think strangely we would miss them as a club. No, the shop isn't anything to do with me or my family.
  12. Highlights are; 'got tae score, got tae score' 'nobody's dead'... from what I hear living in Falkirk failure to go up could mean his club is dead.
  13. Keep forgetting you are both that bit younger 🤦🏼‍♂️ I'm assuming you have both seen the game via YouTube but if not recording your reactions to it could be quite a fun episode.
  14. Excellent, I must try to track that down. I wonder if @Eastendtales could do an episode on this game with him?
  15. 35 years nope can't be .... 10 year old me was there so that would make me old!! What a game, always wondered what became of Mark Smith once he left EEP.
  16. If I'm honest I thought Kelvin Mackenzie (odious being) might have already done so since he's constantly spewing bile on twitter.
  17. Just saw this on BBC sport,my blood ran cold reading the headline. Crush at Hillsborough on Saturday Newcastle support reporting overcrowding and a crush at Leppings Lane. The Sports Grounds Safety Authority and FA are to investigate. I hope the 'corporate memories' of the organisation's involved in putting the game on haven't faded already!
  18. I'll just leave this here... https://news.stv.tv/west-central/glasgow-orange-order-parade-in-july-required-900-police-officers#Echobox=1669704054-1
  19. It's amazing how they appear to have resources for plans, including traffic orders around Easter Road, Tynecastle and Murrayfield...
  20. Nope, can't think where that idea came from... https://makeagif.com/i/NKQW4o https://twitter.com/FootballRemind/status/1428625545592442885?t=wJO57iPul_mw7aYeqt9y3g&s=09
  21. They should have a game clock like Basketball, 4th official could operate it. Everyone could see how long was left, time-wasting would be vastly reduced. Not sure how late you would get home though!!
  22. Interesting article that popped up on my news feed about our new City... sometimes we are too close to see the good. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/the-new-scottish-city-thats-giving-edinburgh-a-run-for-its-money-w95nz0bcc
