JR Ewing
Breaking on Sky Sports News that he has left Bolton.Could well be back in the Celtic hot seat next season, as it's hard to see that Ronny Deila is going to be given another season there. Vinnie
Probably on a contract that Bolton couldn't afford. Would he go back to Celtic, seems a backwards step from the Championship to me?
sabino
But he won't be championship for much longer.
Vinnie
But he won't be championship for much longer. Of course, but the point is, England is a bigger challenge, Celtic isn't a challenge, and I suggest he may well want to stay down south.
Piracy
Neil Lennon is an articulate and shrewd guy, not given the credit he deserves. He'll come good down there.
Vinnie
What @Piracy said!Hes had to work in exceptionally difficult conditions at Bolton as well remember.I wonder, if maybe, with both the Derby and Forest jobs both up for grabs, if he'll turn up somewhere in the Midlands? GG Riva
Can't see Lennon coming back to Glasgow in a hurry. He was always leaving after the bullets in the post carry on. He just waited a bit so that it didn't look like he was running scared of these idiots who sent it. There were also threats made to his family. Why would he want to go back? Vinnie
Family is more important than football, no point going back to that environment or that kind of situation. He doesnt need the money yet, so he can bide his time to choose the right club for him. Keyser Soze
He was certainly shrewd. Shrewd in the sense he knew exactly how to play the victim card and con all those of the green bigot persuasion that he was a decent manager. He had them eating out the palm of his hand. Piracy
He is one of them, he played up to it yeah but it's not like he wasn't singled out.Christ he was subjected to death threats for playing for his country of birth. He'd be better staying away from this country, he'd never be left alone. Keyser Soze
So by the same logic should he let the idiots win and stay away from the country of his birth?
Piracy
Well it was his logic and it's worked okay for him.I stood outside a pub in Port Rush, Northern Ireland, had a green jacket on, guy stops and asks me for a light, proceeds to question me. Took him about 30 seconds to get round to asking me what team I supported. I told him Burntisland Shipyards. Wasn't the only daft f*cker I met over there. I used to work in Sports Connection in the town, Adidas did football boots and trainers with coloured flashes (proper black ones) and the number of times I got the response "he's no' gettin' THAT colour" from both sides of the OF divide.
