Can't understand that statement either. Even if we had finished in the playoffs we couldn't have been guaranteed 2 home games. Who's to say we wouldn't have been knocked out in the semi final and not made the final.

Interesting article in today's Edinburgh Evening News regarding Connor Smith. "He has returned to Hearts from Scunthorpe following a loan spell, with the National League side frustrated that they are not allowed to keep him. A transfer embargo prevents them for renewing Smith's loan agreement or signing him permanently and the midfielder is now back in Edinburgh". 6 goals in 12 starts at Scunthorpe. Wonder if we are maybe in for him

McPake has to shoulder a lot of the blame here. Dishing out ridiculous 2/3 year deals in the summer to players that couldn't cut it last time in the championship, and helped get us relegated. Tonight we were very poor. Yes we've been ravaged by injuries, but we had more than enough experience in our team to be doing much better against a Queen's Park team full of inexperienced teenagers, but our experienced players were all anonymous again. Also, why do we only ever start to show a bit of urgency in games when we go behind. It's all very frustrating

Just looked online, and it appears that FC Edinburgh are no longer offering concession tickets. I got one for our game earlier this season, so can't understand why they've stopped it. Not a very appealing prospect to be standing uncovered in January up to your ankles in mud. Just got to hope it's not raining. Think I'll wait until next Friday to get the weather forecast, before deciding whether or not to buy a ticket.

Does anyone know what players are out of contract at the end of the season? I would imagine there will probably be quite a few players leaving, and Mcpake can finally bring in his own players.

It does beg the question why did McPake start him in a competitive game on Saturday, if he has dodgy knees, and not fit.

Just listened to his interview after today's game, and he sounded very frustrated at not being able to get players in. Wonder if he is not getting the financial support he expected from the board when he took the job.

Really disappointed that Lewis hasn't been involved again since coming back from injury for a couple of games, a few months ago. Noticed that he hasn't even been on the bench recently. Does anyone know it's his old injury that's come back again. The poor guy has had a terrible time with this injury over the past few years, and I think the club have looked after him pretty well over the past few years. One of my favourite Pars players, but sadly, I can't see him getting another deal beyond the end of the season.

I really like Coll's attitude. If we somehow manage to stay up, I would like us to try and sign him permanently, and make him captain
