No offense taken or anything but you do seem to lead with emotion on this topic. I think it goes without saying that scientists motives and backgrounds need to be taken into account, not to mention those who (often selectively) quote them. I did actually give an example of the selective use of statistics above in relation to the Brazilian fires. I won’t go to Fox News for clarification, but I wouldn’t mind a more objective assessment of the impact as opposed to the ultra alarmist standpoint that was blindly accepted by millions the other week.
