Dunfermline v Arbroath

Piracy

He's taken a decent bunch of players and broken them. Cannae believe I bought a season ticket this year to watch guttless ****e like that, Arbroath should have had 5 or 6. Best fullback in the league last year sitting on the bench and not a hint of a formation. He goes on about how well they do on the training ground....they must do it one at a time because that was a clueless shower out there today (with the exception of Kai Kennedy who I feel sorry for)

3 games. Morton who had the worst odds in the league at the start. Partick newly promoted and a part time team.

Scudded 6 without reply for the last two at hame.

We are utterly gash. Trying to play Dorrans as a sitting/defensive midielder is terrible. The goal keeper can't even parry it wide if he doesn't think he can catch/hold it. There was one point today a ball bounced up into the air in the 6 yard box and the keeper and 2 defenders just watched it and stood still. Luckily their striker had already given up on it and was heading back the way. We were also 3-0 down and an arbroath defender just stood still with  no one pressing him.....then a long ball and they were in.

Only consolation is we did have some decent attacking play. But unless we sort out the defensive side of the game we could genuinely go down

The best manager of a part time team over the last two years against someone who wasn’t (I am not suggesting we should have opted for Campbell).
What exactly did Grant achieve in his last job?

Perhaps next week he can field his fabled ****ing CV in goals since it is apparently so impressive.

Did they? What games did they play well in?

Im not sure they did, results proved that.

ETA they were largely ****e against us

You can lose games and play well. Caught a couple of their games they played OK football. Lost their main striker and p/t team they would always expect to struggle.

Livingston and hibs they were quite unlucky, beat hearts, should have beat Dundee.

So they were mainly ****e, Arbroath are also a part time team and managed to vastly out perform Alloa last season. Alloa were ****e and not playing lots of great football, neither were they just unlucky.

Really no point trying to summarise the game after thinking about it.

What’s frustrating is we didn’t look like winning, haven’t done in all three games to date. Kai Kennedy the only one that really tried to take the game to them posed a threat, he deserved a goal.

Thought the foul on the keeper was a soft one, but not surprised it was given.

That’s twice now Todorov has missed a header at point blank range, both superb saves don’t get me wrong, but he needs to finish them, keepers shouldn’t be having the chance to save them.

The one plus, we’ll 100% see OFW in goals for the foreseeable.
