I see that Gary Neville has been appointed Head Coach of Valencia until the end of the season.

Interesting appointment, given his relative lack of experience at that level.  In fairness, he has been assisting Roy Hodgson with England, and he seems to have a good footballing knowledge, but it's a big step for him taking on a job like this in a foreign country.  Presumably the involvement of Peter Lim at both Valencia and Salford City will have had something to do with the appointment too.

A shame that he'll have to give up the Sky Sports gig, as I like him as a pundit.  I wonder how much focus he can give his other interests (England, Salford City and his hotel business) while he has this job.
