Vinnie
http://news.stv.tv/politics/1344024-six-scottish-constituencies-to-be-cut-in-boundary-review/Doesn't just apply to Scotland, simply STV is where I found the story. About 50 constituency boundaries are being redrawn nationwide, the idea being to have roughly the same number of folk in each. A move towards a more fairer system? Deutsch Par
Doubt it will be a fairer system tbh. As long as Scotland is dwarfed by England then we are at the behest of whichever way they vote.
AdamAntsParsStripe
Despite winning 56 out of a possible 59 seats look at how easily the SNP are shunned in Westminster. It is an unfair system and as said, it doesn't matter who Scots vote for, England will always decide who the Government is.

From a Nationalist point of view I agree, but, as the referendum kept us part of the UK, that's kind of irrelevant to these changes? This is surely a step towards proportional representation, which must be a fairer format in a General Election?
moviescot
The border changes proposed in England will make it much easier for the Tories to win more often. 50 constituencies will be abolished.
