  1. I'm mainly focussed on us, If airdrie drop points then that's great, but if we have a decent end to season but they do well enough to finish ahead then we can only hold our hands up, say fair play and focus on ensuring next season doesn't result in any long periods of pish poor form that we experienced this year.
  2. Could be monday/thursday for all I know, its entirely on what suits TV, and if they actually care, in which case it will go back to clubs who would mostly go to tue/sat.
  3. It will be some combo of ‘mid-week’/ ‘weekend’ around those dates but it really depends on what the TV companies want, no guarantee of tue/sat
  4. You won’t get a announcement on those until the teams are confirmed
  5. It could be, but for it to go well if needs significant buy in, if it gets it at this price I’d be delighted for the club in the cash it would bring in, but if as I suspect the pricing kills a lot of interest and they only get a few hundred along then it would have killed the little ‘difference’ factor that pubs will offer
  6. Agreed, when it was said Scotland games would be ticketed I thought fair enough got to manage numbers for them and thought it would be a reasonably nominal fee, possibly that could be exchanged for a drink. I don’t see what £15 gets me
  7. Pretty unfair that, I’d hate to be judged by our postcode
  8. That statement is absolutely horrific. There’s so many things that are ridiculous in it. this is probably the worse ”we had the greatest Chairman/Manager collaboration in non-league football” WTF self praise is no praise. There’s space in football to recognise players/managers moving on but there’s absolutely no need for this, feels like the chairman has felt forced to get rid of his mate by fans having the cheek to actually want to win games of football.
  9. Well unless they do bad enough to be sacked they will, nobody would come in for them without at least some sort of success with us.
  10. Tough game, Nothing to fear, we're now more than capable ourselves.
  11. I don't think we need to worry too much about Arbroath. We're in a position now where we can go take our game too our opponents. I think it will be a fight at times and I've no problem with that, indeed I almost welcome it.
  12. Who is the most successful lifelong pars fan in football, particularly more modern day?
  13. Surely Kelty are on the list, can't just have cowden claiming legacy status on being top 4. And if its fife FA members you need to add Dondonald and Hill o beath. And if its senior fife clubs, he could have a club a season and still take a while getting around.
  14. Reserve football can be a bit mental in how strengths of teams can change rapidly. I think clubs just accept this when fundamentally it isn't really about winning. Its always a balance between getting youngsters experience and getting first teamers game time and it can quickly change what one has more weighting on any particular week.
  15. Miles had ice on his knee/shin at ft. Mcpake quoted it as an impact injury and seemed pretty confident that he won’t be out much if at all. Kane I don’t think got a mention but I suspect he was just managing his injury
  16. Being laid now/soon I believe. 1. These cancer studies have being going on a while now but nobody has been able to put anything with any certainty down, we are still in speculation stage. 2. Even if a 2031 ban was to come into place there would probably be leniency too already placed pitches but even if not the training ground pitch would be approaching toward the end of its natural lifespan of 8-10 years
  17. I’d be shocked if 45 points is anywhere near 9th, 40 will probably be enough but isn’t a guarantee
  18. Pretty sure we've offered similar deals in the past. Its a fairly common time for clubs to chase fans at this time of year as they try get their teams over the line in whatever battle they're in. It maybe a cashflow thing, but for me the biggest indicator of that is early season-ticket sales, especially if they involve some lock-in deal where there's the potential you get to watch the team in a higher league for the same money. Unless the fans have already gone full to war with the B.O.D its by far the quickest way to bring a large sum of cash into a club quickly, even if it means leaving Peter beaten in a ditch as you beg Paul to take partial payment and you'll cover the rest later. On ST value, yeah I'll admit by far the biggest reason for me to get one is convivence, if your wanting pure financial value then it doesn't add up.
  19. It was aberdeen who stopped the 11-1 majority being changed. We did actually get a slightly improved distribution model as celtic joined the 10 in agreeing to remove some of the money due for 2nd place.
  20. Yes, however unless your going to completely tear down UEFA, get rid of european football, stop or massively reduce corporate sponsorship and reintroduce gate shares then that dominance is going to be there, even if the completely gave up their entire spfl prize money.
  21. Ok, so now I have been bothered. 14/15 p&l published 15/16 abbreviated accounts published Every year since has been the same level of detail as this year
  22. The cats well out the bag for TV coverage tho and it’s never going back in. At least with live championship games you are reminding the casual viewer that our league exists
  23. Its interesting that nobody in high positions at championship clubs are publicly denouncing the deal. When it was first signed there was suggestions championship clubs pushed for a higher percentage but backed off when premiership clubs said they'd push back if they signed a better prem deal which they did end up doing. We've not long agreed an extension taking the deal to 2029 with significantly improved terms. Unfortunately I don't know what significant means and it would suit both the SPFL and BBC to make it sound bigger than it was. Overall the sfl/spl agreement has been massively beneficial to clubs at our level, if having top tier clubs wanting deals signed at a lower level than we'd ideally agree too then its a price worth paying.
  24. I can't be ***ed trawling back far enough but certainly in later years prior to the outside investment we published the same minimal level of detail as we have now. Maybe more detailed accounts were made available to shareholders etc, but not what was put on companies house.
