  1. Yeah I was really worried last night at the game. Went on .nut and folk obviously not at the game were slagging the guy off even though he'd made 2 good saves, I snapped at one which I regretted but sometimes folk need to take a step back. The guy has his flaws but he's not the complete dud some make him out to be. We'd have been looking at a relegation play off if it weren't for his penalty save last week.

    Get well soon Deniz.

Two points at home to QP and Inverness is poor. The performances have been a hard watch.

As I've said numerous times after the reamings off Morton and QP in February I couldn't see us bettering 9th. So if we finish 5th/6th I'd say thats not a poor end.

I'd agree performances haven't been great but staying up is about as good an outcome as I could've hoped for 2 months ago.

You're perfectly entitled to 100% disagree with anything I post, I've no issue with that at all. I was raging yesterday and I don't usually rant at the manager and players but that performance was pathetic. No idea idea if it could be attributed to fear of losing or lack of confidence in the game plan, but it was not acceptable.

I think everyone connected to the Pars were frightened of losing yesterday. Its only natural. I was dreading the game and I'm just an ageing overweight loudmouth in the Norrie.

    Cheeky ****.

McPake is struggling to get his team playing well, nobody can defend that garbage yesterday. No slavering there.

It wouldn't surprise me if he were to get moved along. Yes, I'm making assumptions but I genuinely think they looked like we'd given up, which is opposite to last seasons team.

I stand by things not being right at the club.

I completely disagree that the team "looked like they'd given up". You can say what you want about ability etc but in my opinion you're completely wrong about attitude.

That was utter f*ckin tripe. I was utterly bemused and frustrated with what was served up today. I don't think McPake will be here next season, I think they'll go head hunt another manager. I think they've just thought down tools, there's no fight, resilience, guile, hunger, desire, ambition etc, utterly dejected with the last couple of games. There's something not right at the club, you can call me a sh*t stirrer, a moaning c*nt, but I couldn't give a toss, it needs sorted.

Are you serious? The first line, fair enough. The rest? Mad ramblings

and certainly it seems to be that online he's getting it fairly tight.

This. I pray he doesn't go on .nut.

Maybe I'm getting saft in my old age, maybe it's because I have a son around his age but I'd hate if some of the sh1t that gets said to him or posted about him was being aimed at my boy.

  7. Just watched the highlights there & seeing the boys lift that trophy fair brings a smile to my perma-crabbit pus. They did the club proud, hopefully not for the last time!

As for McCann I desperately want him to be a success at the Pars. He's still relatively early in his career although it seems like an age since he broke into the first team (2018?)

I hope we don't give up on him just yet. Wish we had the means to afford a strikers' coach like the Craw, I feel like he improved Nisbet as a player during his brief spell at the Pars & might do the same with Lewis.

  8. I was at that game.

I'm not complacent - I've been watching the Pars for nearly 40 years & never take any result for granted.

Just pointing out that 4 other teams would probably/definitely take our position if offered.

  9. Agreed......but there's still a lot of ifs and buts in that nightmare scenario.

I'm hoping for an alternative set of results which could easily also happen, especially given results never go the way you think they will in this league.

Partick just destroyed Airdrie so they're perfectly capable of seeing off Ayr at home to almost guarantee themselves 3rd.

Watched QP last weekend. They looked bang average to me certainly no better than ourselves. If we were going up to Gayfield needing a win to stay in touch would you think it would be an easy 2 or 3 goal win for us? Think they might sneak it because they need it more but it doesn't always work out like that.

Inverness caused Raith a few problems last Friday but they couldn't score in a barrel of fannies, similar to ourselves - a low-scoring draw would be my prediction.

We deserve at least one relaxing worry free weekend after the season we've had to endure!

The food is what is is, no menu choices. We had soup, ham potatoes and veg, then chocolate sponge with ice cream. I have to say the quality was good.

    I really enjoyed the food.

There was a vegetarian option as well.

I really don't understand the grudge a proportion of our fans have against him.   He was ****ed around by 2 managers for a year, the later most acknowledge is an utter scumbag who created an environment nobody would be happy to work within. He chose to take a job much closer to home that would get him away from that toxic environment for what has been suggested as a quite good pay.      Given the same choice can anyone say they'd take another?

He signed a pre-contract with the team who relegated us man! On his game he was excellent but those games were few and far between and he contributed to our relegation no matter who the manager was.

I hope we play a part in relegating his mob on Saturday
