The food is what is is, no menu choices. We had soup, ham potatoes and veg, then chocolate sponge with ice cream. I have to say the quality was good.

    I really enjoyed the food.

There was a vegetarian option as well.

I really don't understand the grudge a proportion of our fans have against him.   He was ****ed around by 2 managers for a year, the later most acknowledge is an utter scumbag who created an environment nobody would be happy to work within. He chose to take a job much closer to home that would get him away from that toxic environment for what has been suggested as a quite good pay.      Given the same choice can anyone say they'd take another?

He signed a pre-contract with the team who relegated us man! On his game he was excellent but those games were few and far between and he contributed to our relegation no matter who the manager was.

I hope we play a part in relegating his mob on Saturday

Happy to see the club try this out but I would have thought a tenner a head would have been fine, but if they make a bit of cash from it then it's a success.

Well I've got 8 of us going & 3 of them lick lino every other Saturday. They aren't too pleased that we're getting there £45 so it's all good!

Just noticed the £15 includes free bus travel so that's a wee saving for those like me & the troops travelling thro from KDY.

Pricy stuff. Will probably be chilly late on too, wonder if Stagecoach are going to put on extra buses from Dunfermline after the games?

I've no experience of a fanzone in Scotland whatsoever. Have there ever been any? What about abroad? Are these prices really high compared to a fanzone in other countries?

I've just bought our usual seats for the first game in the Norrie. I'm really looking forward to it. I can't afford to go to Germany so want to do something different from the usual pub or man-cave type thing. If it's ****e I'll give it a miss for the other games.

Don't reckon Steve Clark will be particularly chuffed at that performance.

    Agreed.

However it's a friendly, a glorified exhibition match. Results don't matter. Said for years these games should be either free entry or behind closed doors, they're totally meaningless.

The best thing about the Nations League is we have far, far less friendlies clogging up the domestic calendar.

I walked out Starks a couple of weeks ago downbeat as ****, as well as the Derby loss I was acutely aware that we had Dundee United and Morton up next, and couldn't see us winning either.

Here we are, 6 points later, football eh? The pints later are going to be extra tasty. Enjoy the weekend everyone 👍

Grant I confirm that pints definitely taste better after a win at Morton. Enjoy your night!

Morton have recently come under new ownership (might even be fans?) so they actually had allot of communication with regards to there finances, among it they were open about the cup tie against Celtic raising their playing budget. If they hadn't got the draw maybe they wouldn't have spent the extra money?

Just for the record, I'm not criticising Morton & how they've attained money to budget with.

What I'm trying (& obviously failing) to say is that I'm not sure a report of this type that shows a small profit but lists "other" incomes to top it up won't have pacified some of us on here & other forums.

    I'll leave it at that.

Given a lot of fans have sought that level of detail I'd say maybe, or probably. But, see at the end of the day, most fans won't or don't give a hoot about accounts, cash flow, cash reserves etc, it's about results and signings etc. I can fully understand that.

Ultimately we're all judged on results.

Perhaps I didn't get my point over properly.

They only made a profit due to an unspecified "other" amount of cash. Indeed chuck in the cup cash (hardly guaranteed season on season) & they'd have lost more than £250,000.

A P&L report that detailed those sorts of numbers would have raised more questions than answers, no?

Sliding into Saturday like...It's almost as if they've spent the entire season ****ing everyone else off...

The entitlement from that lot when they'd struggle to fill a bath for the last 25 years is hilarious

    My thoughts exactly.

Go on the match thread & their Rovers thread on P&B. Old Firm levels of entitlement. I really hope they get pumped rotten.
