  1. Was considering just paying game to game and taking the risk of losing my seat after 23 years so delighted to see there's a finance option. If my seat costs pretty much the same to allow youngsters to get in for next to nothing then that's fair enough as well. Well done to David Cook & DAFC.
  2. There has to be another explanation for this if it's true. I'd be amazed if anyone at the club thinks this is a fair way to treat any employee.
  3. "Which leave two condiates who I think are viable, Thompson and Murray, both have there plus and negative points." "Kettlewell was in the reckoning before, wouldn`t be shocked if he threw his hat back in the ring." Hardly glowing recommendations Maybe stick your neck on the line & say who you think would be guaranteed to be a good appointment rather than just either slagging folk off for having an alternative opinion or just dismissing everyone as "wild"
  4. I did. Three of them you admitted were unlikely & one of those was Jack Ross, another you told us was done with football. Try living on planet earth.
  5. Imagine having a different opinion from yours......... I deal with clients every day who are good at saying who they don't want. Tell us who you want that would 100% guarantee success or just GTF. Honestly.
  6. This was always on the cards. Pitch invasions seem to be the norm these days. What an absolute scumbag.
  7. I'm not ***ed whether we win an away play-off match or not. It's over 2 legs that matters.
  8. I would never, ever wish injury on anyone, honestly (especially an ACL as I did mine back in the day) However.............
  9. Realistically the target now is 9th. Finish the season with as many points as we can gather. Then throw the lot at the playoffs. Let every one in for £5. The atmosphere was superb tonight and it may be just enough to see us through. Total rebuild in the summer if we somehow survive.
  10. The ****hole of a manager publicly backed this signing twice. He has to go.
  11. To be fair that's a bit like Peter Sutcliffe saying Fred West was a gid gardener. Benedictus has previous.
  12. Have to say I'm baffled why a man like McGlynn, who always struck me as a thoroughly decent man & and an excellent manager at this level, would want anything to do with signing this scumbag.
  13. It's a really odd move. Desperate. Very un-Rovers like.
  14. There are Pars fans out there that seem ridiculously hard to please tho, like they haven't quite grasped our current desperate predicament & how hard it must be any January to improve a squad. The manager is doing his very best to improve things - time will tell if it works but I think the early signings (Lawless & Donaldson) give hope for the rest of the season.
  15. ...........while others use this method to form their opinion on a player, some without ever actually seeing him in the flesh. Strange.
  16. Obviously this is a bit silly, but you already know that. You fire away & pick & choose the bits of threads that support your "argument".
  17. According to the oracle that is P&B, he didn't set the heather on fire in an utterly ****e Ayr team under 2 terrible managers............I don't think it's outwith the realms of possibility that he could do OK here. Thistle fans said Lawless was finished & according to some big Coll was a dud as well. Early days but both seem fine to me, certainly an upgrade on what we have. We're 2nd bottom in the Championship & it's the January window. I really don't know who some folk expect us to sign.
  18. Quite liked the look of him at the start of the season but along with most of his teammates McDonald produced one of the worst displays I've ever witnessed at Hamilton a few weeks back. Awful. Counting Graham as a departure is a bit of a leap seeing as how he was an absolute liability from day one. We'd be better off with an empty shirt.
  19. Our midfield isn't great but that's not all Dorrans' fault.
  20. I really like him as a footballer & we should be able to build a team around him but until we compliment him better in midfield we're much better off without him, as Saturday showed. I'm no tactician so can't really explain it better than that. The only other time he played & the whole team played well was Ayr at home, someone who knows their stuff can maybe explain the difference that day (other than Ayr being murder)
  21. I wonder how Celtic would react if the SPFL/SFA said they couldn't play their 3 new Japanese signings in the re-arranged OF game? Meltdoon I expect....
