I seriously hope there is no repeat in the remaining game v Raith along at San Starko. These things have a terrible propensity to escalate. It's a real shame that the minority detract from some of the great work done by the club and the likes of Jason, Atmosphere does not = violence or pyro on the pitch.

Theres been bother at the last 2 games through at starks so I would have expected some bother and a heavy police presence at the next one and thats before the bus stop incident.

I meant to say that section. The club will need to be seen to do something as clearly all the warnings aren’t working

Yip. Raith have said they will be contact us today about the bus stop incident. I think along with the social media reaction it will make the club act. What that will be remains to be seen but they have already closed the section to walk ups before.

Except you didn't say that, I condemned the behavior of those throwing stuff and you replied with

Because as has been the theme through the encounter, you take offence almost as quickly as you dish out insults, lest we forget you finished of your next post with.

By saying "fly with the crows, shot with the crows" I'm not accusing everyone in the North West (I am glad you managed to discern the difference between stadium and section) I wasn't even accusing everyone in the section (inhabit eh, some word?). I said it specifically in reply to you saying that you would remain an ****hole. Because when faced with a discussion of yet more crowd disturbance from that section your reply is "I will remain an ****hole".

As for making up accusations about you seing things -

I'm not Shakespeare, however if you don't tend to see the culprit that means that sometimes you do infact, see the culprit. Correct?

It's not at all bizarre to say that over the past year where throwing items on the pitch, and at players has been a regular occurance that fans will have seen this and done nothing about it. Again as I said to Da_no_1 I'm not expecting societal justice here, but with how frequently these offences take place its also fair to say that there isn't allot of pressure on people not to throw. You still with me?  There's been frequent pleas from the club with the ramifications in terms of finances plainly laid out. Despite this again today there was loads of ****e thrown, with another three flares chucked, two of them delaying the restart to the game. I presume when Breen was visibly frustrated after the third flare and had to be warned by the referee to stay away he was also just virtue signalling?

    Grant.

If you put together your two posts about the people who inhibit the section and then clarifying with flying with the craws and shot with the craws its pretty clear what you meant. You have reinforced it with the accusations and comical replies about the section all the way through the thread as well. You can backtrack all you want but its there to see.

And no I dont see who throws things if I did I would tell the stewards/police another bizarre accusation🤣🤣

I am glad you have finally admitted that everyone in that section isn't an ****hole or branded as such just for being there

    Goodnight

I'm not Google mate, you've just learned what inhabit means, keep going. Every days a school day.

Grant. When I challenged you on the ****hole comment  and said I sit in the section you were happy to say fly with the craws shot with the craws. The saying means its fine to brand people with the same tag if they are in an around people behaving badly so everyone in that section must be an ****hole in your eyes. Again though you have went down the road of some bizarre accusations about people in that section and some leveled at me seeing stuff and not doing anything about it. Keep making an arse of yourself if you want.

My first reply was just a plain "thanks" if you look back.

Close the NW to all season ticket holders. Done it with non season ticket holders before. Problem solved

Will the people doing it not just move to another section of the ground and do the same? Albeit they would be further away from the corner flag where opposition player takes the corner and the linesman

  6. 3 minutes ago, Grant said:

And in the situations you do see the culprit you?...

I've never claimed everyone in that section is an ****hole, I said it was inhabited by arseholes, do you want me to explain to you what inhabit means, or can you Google that?

In your haste to be offended you then claimed I said the whole stand (I didn't) before then backtracking to section, but none the less taking plenty of offense while then throwing out plenty of insults.

You are doing a great job of dispelling any perceptions I have of the section, good job!

If you call a whole section out and say it's inhabited by arseholes its pretty obvious someone from that section will fire back especially when you come out with nonsense like fly with the craws and shot with the craws and some weird accusations that people in that section must be seeing stuff and allowing it to happen. Read my post of above and reflect on it.

  7. 6 minutes ago, Grant said:

Are you unaware of anything being thrown from that section of the ground? Some set of blinkers on you, fair play.

I don't think I have claimed that. Now you are making things up🤣🤣

What I have said is I don't tend to see the culprit. I have seen objects before land near the linesman and opposition player (I didnt see any today) but I can't rewind time and look at the crowd and see who did it. I'm not denying there are people that behave poorly, what I am saying is that not everyone in that section is an ****hole or are covering for people behaving like arseholes which you seem to think. And its astonishing you can't quite grasp that.

A few things were thrown but didn’t reach the linesman so that won’t get noticed.

A boy that looked about 13 got taken out by stewards/police and was pleading he didn’t do anything.. his old man was shouting his boy didn’t do anything… just embarrassing to watch imo.

See the paper getting thrown in the air but wasnt really bothered. Like you I dont see the point but it isnt dangerous and I wasnt looking about to find out the culprits. I didn't see anything else where I was.

Did see a young lad get led along the norrie at one point by the steward and one boy was taken out of the crowd and spoken to by the police at the back(he looked about 13). No idea what either are suppose to have done

Watched the goals back there on Raith highlights. Hope we are practicing how to defend crosses at training rest of the week, that’s now 5 goals since Partick we’ve given away from crossed balls. Poor defending for both goals today

Aye McPake mentions it in his post match. Its pretty criminal to lose goals like that given we were already up against it with our injuries. We arn't making it easy for ourselves.

Are there loads? Because it seems there's a good amount who do ****hole things and then a good amount who do hee haw about it. It's yourself that's struggling to comprehend that. If there are loads of just pure good guys in there why doesn't the section make it clear when ****e is thrown on the park that it's not acceptable? Just simply saying "Oh loads us aren't arseholes" Means heehaw when you're putting yourself in amongst consistent ****hole behaviour and doing nothing about it.

I've got no interest in sitting there cheers, because if you do fly with the crows, you do infect get shot with them. Have a wee Google of Active Bystanders. You'll probably just put that down to more virtue signalling right enough.

Cool. Glad you clarified you think everyone in a particular section of a ground is an ****hole while also admiting you don't even go into the section. And everyone in that section must witness who throws what at all times while they will be watching a game of football rather than the crowd

    Amazing stuff

Well there is obviously 12 of those wee idiots that need a good doing and chucked out so far?

The fight was at a bus stop outside the ground. If they do have season tickets for the NW or any other stand they should be banned. Feel free to give them a doing if you want. What point are you trying to make?

  12. 11 minutes ago, Grant said:

Oaft, calling other people thick is a bold shout when you've struggled to comprehend the difference between a section and a stand.

Is it virtue signalling to say that a section of the ground which repeatedly breaks the rules, has had repeated pleas from the club's to stop being arseholes, might infact be inhabited, by arseholes?

The next time the clubs gets a letter from the SFA they can file it in the bin safe in the knowledge that the SFA are just virtue signalling, phew!

Maybe if there are loads of you in that section who aren't infact arseholes, maybe you could maybe influence the behaviour of this apparent minority? Because it's been going on consistently for a year now, you'd think at some point the pure "loads" of yous would've done something about it?

Aye, you are being thick. After explaining already that theres loads of people in that section that arn't arseholes you are still apparently fine with labelling them all justifying it with fly with the craws and shot with them.

Its not me thats not comprehending things very well.

Maybe you should come to the section to police it rather than asking me to do it. I dont tend to watch the crowd as the game goes on to see who might be chucking stuff.

  13. 2 minutes ago, Grant said:

I said section of the NW, comprehension not your strong point?

    "lyk"

Yeah I am at the corner flag area towards the back. I think you are too thick to comprehend theres loads of people in that area of the ground that arn't arseholes. But you would prefer to virtue signal and brand the whole section.

Get in the bin, ken what I am saying "lyk"

Another week where things are repeatedly thrown at opposition players and linesman.

If that was the old firm/any opposition team we'd be quick to condemn and call the behaviour out, game getting delayed and the pitch getting damaged due to more smoke bombs.

And the **** that boots him has section NW stuff all over his pussbook aswell. If you seen that video and had asked anyone to guess where in EEP he sits you'd be able to drop a pin on the section.

I'm not sure what the answer is, but there's evidently little to no self policing going on in that section, week after week it's the exact same.

Cool, I will remain an ****hole then

  15. 3 minutes ago, Grant said:

That section of the NW seems inhabited by arseholes tbh.

    Thanks

Horrible video tbh, the lads is just on the ground taken a pummeling tries to get up with his hands in the air and some **** boots him

I dont think its fair to ask a punter to name players without being the manager/scout/boardmember who is much closer to the detail of scouting/budget and availablity of players and who's job it is to put together the best squad possible. However looking at our rivals in the league(and assuming we have bigger budgets than most of them due to income/crowds). I would have taken from rovers alone murray(better than all our CBs) ,byrne(better than chalmers and Etto),hamilton(a better option for an additional forward) and smith(a good impact player from the bench rather than what we already have).

I would have also kept Todorov, McGowan and it seem  Witherspoon is choosing to be unemployed than take the deal being offered. Thats 3 weeks wages he has chosen not to take on the basis he isnt happy with the offer by the sounds of it.

Remembered this post while thinking about the squad on the drive home.

We are really struggling and i'm not confident we will have recruits in January

  17. Well we made it competitive which was what I was wanting before the game and from there see if we can sneak something. We started the game well but after 10/15 mins rovers were the better team and deserved to be ahead. All the guys around me had resigned themselves that rovers would grab a second the way the game was going. Fair play to Summers to give the team a lift out of nowwhere with a wee bit of magic.

What is frustrating is losing 2 goals from set pieces against a rovers team who arn't particularly big a tbh verging on criminal given the team was put together from a band of crocks and were managing to stay in the game.  After losing 2 cbs again we did ok but miss real quality up front. Most of the second half was a carbon copy of the 0-1 game at east end where we couldn't break down an organised rovers side while they lacked a bit of quality on the break to kill the game. Frustating we couldnt test the keeper more but thats down to rovers pretty solid defending along with our lack of quality. I think we have only scored 11 goals at home in 9 games(need to check that when I get home). We also seem to lose something in midfield when Otoo has to drop back in defence

As a side note I have noticed that most of the songs rovers fans sing seem to be about the pars which I quite enjoy.

  18. Strange I couldn't see a thread on this already so I will start one.

Not looking great is it?  Rovers have scored 18 goals in the last 7 games. And 6 in the last 2 games. We are gona have change formation to a back 4 probably and hope hamilton with a broken cheekbone is able to play there(and not in his natural position). They have loads of players to change the game with while we have nobody to bring on for a player who might have a knock. Our home form isnt amazing and while rovers have also conceded 6 in the last 2 our attacking play has been our weakness so I am not sure we will capitalise on it. What players will we even have fit?🤣

Anyway, hoping to get pished at new year which changes my mindset and makes me positive for the game.

Looks like both Breen and Bene have suffered a reoccurrence of their injury?

not sure we have anyone left to sit on a bench ?

FFS. You have to perhaps question the medical staff on Breen and Bene?

    Was Beni injured again?
