  1. Yeah, it's true. Was posted on the Facebook group last night.
  2. What an absolute ****ing joke of a statement.
  3. Wouldn't surprise me tbh. Same path as Potter and Crawford.
  4. You can go to bed. Nothing will change tonight
  5. We need 6 points from the games v Raith and QoS otherwise Grant should be out on his ear. Tbh he already should but got a feeling he will get until the international break. Almost a quarter of the season gone, 0 goals at home. The Peter Grant experiment has been an absolute failure and should have ended after the Arbroath pumping.
  6. While it seems like the performance was much improved yesterday and is much more encouraging I can't help but think that the reaction of the fans is much like back in 1991/92 when 0-0 draws were celebrated like victories because it meant we hadn't been humped. Hopefully yesterday is a stepping stone to better things and not just a false dawn.
  7. Split this from the match thread as I felt it deserved to be its own thread.
  8. Wouldn't be able to gwt the share they wanted in Germany. All German clubs must be at least 51% fan owned.
  9. Wasn't blaming you tbh just wanting to know what was said. If I was cynical I would suggest that Peter Grant is trying to buy himself more time by looking to garner sympathy for his position.
  10. Can barely hear it. What was he saying?
  11. Wasn't there also one after the final day of the season after we lost to Morton, the game only remembered for Lindsay Hamilton's brief run out as a linesman? Being a pedant I feel obliged to tell you that although Blair Morgan was on the board, the chairman then was Roy Woodrow.
  12. I think when Grant does go (it really is a matter of when, not if) we will be lucky to get half the number of applications as we did in the summer. A lot of managers will probably decide not to bother as they will have the perception that we are a tin-pot club, and rightly so.
  13. Seeing as the club love social media so much I have returned to Twitter mostly to reply to their tweets with an anti-Peter Grant account. https://twitter.com/GrantGTF?s=09 I created accounts of this nature for both Jim Jefferies and Allan Johnston and they were both gone within hours of me making them.
  14. Would refusing to attend East End Park until Peter Grant is relieved of his duties force the board's hand? If I was still in Scotland I certainly wouldn't be spending my money on that.
  15. Obviously I am reluctant to give rumours credence but when it is being reported in several places then no smoke without fire... If true then Grant's position must be completely untenable, surely?
  16. Merged threads as no need for two about the same thing especially when original thread was still on top page.
  17. It's bad when a guy like yourself is having those kind of thoughts and you won't be the only person thinking that way. The club loses 100 people like yourself going to matches paying about 70 quid a match day then that's 7000 going elsewhere every second week. The club isn't rich enough to lose that kind of money.
  18. Also the first Dunfermline manager to lose to Arbroath by a 3 goal margin since Jocky Scott, and on that occasion we got fined for fielding an understrength team (Jackie McNamara's debut).
  19. Actually we started that season winning 5-2 v Motherwell and then beating St. Johnstone 2-0. The six game losing run then started with a 4-1 reverse at home to Rangers. Mehmet sells at least one goal a game yet is still in possession of the jersey. He is the worst keeper we have had since Bryn Halliwell. Utterly baffling.
  20. We'll win League 1 next season (if we have a competent manager for a change).
  21. No point in starting a new thread seeing as this is still on the top page. Adding a poll. Should Peter Grant resign or be sacked? I certainly think so, this is the worst start we have to a season since Stephen Kenny was manager.
