Makes it even funnier that Queen's Park lost because with Ayr beating Inverness Ayr have sneaked into second so Queen's Park have to play an extra playoff match if they are to make the Premier.

He did get another chance with us in the Championship without the aforementioned players helping him and scored 0 goals from open play in a full league season in the Championship. Even Gavin Reilly did better. If he was anywhere close to Wighton's ability then it's likely that he would still have popped up with an individual goal or two. Going back a good seasons but to compare Faiss to Ian McCall, McCall was a great player in his first season with us who looked like he was really going places and got his move to Rangers and then pretty much wasted his career thereafter. When McCall came back to us you could see that he wasn't close to the player he used to be but now and again would produce a little bit of genius. Faiss in season 2018-19 was a complete waste of a signing. He also pulled the same move that George O'Boyle did which didn't sit right with me.

Does the ticket price there also include free public transport to and from the ground? Eintracht Braunschweig last year in the 3. Liga was €12 for the terracing and €15 euros in the 2. Bundesliga this season. The Südkurve was reminiscent of the old East End Park terracing, but as you say with the added bonus of having a beer. I have a Magenta Sport subscription (the wife wanted something that was on Magenta TV and adding sport was only €5 extra) and Viktoria Köln's ground seems to have a quirky and unique style.

I certainly hope that they vote against what is being proposed. Many clubs joined the pyramid system to get a chance of making it to the SPFL and the goalposts are being moved to suit the big clubs. I have no objections against B teams in the pyramid system per se, as long as they start at the very bottom and work their way up on merit and promotion is capped at Lowland League or Highland League. Being shoehorned somewhere in the middle is a ****ing joke.

After Basel fans were stopped from getting into Nice at the French border last night because the French police are short on resources because of strikes, blaming immigrants etc they decided not to make a fuss and take over the nearby Italian town of San Remo setting up a big screen in the town centre to watch the match and watching and celebrating the match there. The San Remo locals were full of praise after the initial unfounded fears of a bunch of unpredictable foreigners taking over their town subsided. The Basel fans are reported to have started clearing up before the game had even ended and apparently there is no evidence that this spontaneous event ever happened. Would love to be able to come over for it but can't commit at the moment because any time in lieu I might need to use if the German public transport strikes go on for a while. Had two days that I needed to use for Sunday and Monday that I had been saving so I need to build up some more again.

As good as that would be they would have to sustain their winning run and hope that at least one of Darmstadt, Heidenheim and Hamburger SV have a total collapse.

I think that the rules changed and they have to win the competition to get into Europe.
