Joel Mumbongo was at the game yesterday.

Kayser who drives the team bus received a league winners medal on Saturday from McPake. I think that's another sign that McPake has built up the mentality that everyone is part of the squad. Totally different days from Grant and Hughes.
I thought it was a very good thing from McPake to do.

Think it's obvious he's waiting for a better deal elsewhere (can't blame him). We should be moving on now.

Someone was telling me this morning every time the Wotherspoon deal looks close his agent comes up with another demand apparently.
-
Wotherspoon still training with us.

Someone who works for consillium sports has said it's nonsense what has been posted.

Why is Hamilton on the bench? Poor decision

Surley they still can’t be using that crap, the squad is in terrible shape and teams around us strengthen
Surely some of the new players Patrick have signed could have ended up here- Williamson,Alston and Mcinroy.

Message from the supporters meeting tonight was that we are being patient to sign the right player.

Someone has posted on pie and bovril that Mehmet is injured for two months.

If this thread doesn't typify Pars fans I don't know what does, talk about glass half empty 🤣
Agreed there are concerns over a paper thin squad but the player we have got didn't just suddenly become ****e over night. This is a tough game, that's all, just like pretty much every other game in this league.
Think we have concerns over Michael O'Halloran's fitness and how much he is going to be involved. I think a 2 year deal is a big risk and I said the same when we signed Dorrans.
-
I think the mood around the club is low at the moment due to the two unfortunate injuries and lack of signings.
The one new face we have brought in could turn out to be another Dorrans type signing.
We don't have any real attacking threat at the moment and can see Airdrie getting the three points.
Wonder what has happened to this player that was close to signing?

Thought we played ok in the first half and created one or two good chances.
2nd half wee team had the better chances with Mehmet making a couple of good saves. Struggled to get Wighton in the game for large spells with the ball being mainly in the air up to him. Changes didn't really work with O'halloran and Allan coming on and offering nothing. The lack of options off the bench shoes we are still well shorr in terms of squad size.
What does Paul Allan actually offer btw? He doesn't tackle well, not great on the ball and not great at breaking forward, need much better than him imo
Think we should be looking at moving Allan on. I don't know how he ever got a new deal.

East Port should have it on
-
Hamilton out with a knock and should be back for the Rovers game.

Aye, Kane could have done without that and so could we. 🙁
Not having been a footballer of any note myself, I've often wondered why players are sometimes injured by team mates in training. Obviously, it was an accident, but are players expected to go full pelt in training? Would they not be more likely to treat it like a testimonial game, where there's an unwritten agreement that strong tackling is out?
Having said that, it may be that S'Ally's post is not entirely accurate and Matty's "crunching tackle" was more a coming together with unfortunate consequences.
Dave Mackay said it was a bump with Todd on cows.

Apparently a deal to bring Zak Rudden here was close but he has now been given a second chance to prove himself at Dundee.

Rovers have been backed into 8s now.

McPake has built a squad that work hard for each other and have that never give up attitude… I honestly think we will be competing at the top end of the league and possible champions…
Think we will need to add some new attacking options to be challenging for the title. If KRH is also missing for a while he will be a big loss.
I think we will be fine defensively.
-
I thought the Rovers would have been a shorter price. On paper they have recruited well so far and seems like Dean McKenzie is backing them.

Cammy Smith was at the game on Friday.
-
Was speaking to one of the club volunteers on Friday and he was telling me that an away friendly against St Pauli for next year could be announced shortly. I would imagine they would have to work it around the euros.

Turner will probably end up at a bottom six top flight side.
