Missed that in all the McPake contract chat - where did he say this?
Someone I know said he mentioned it at the meeting with the supporters clubs.
-
McPake said he was only signing his new deal if Todd signed one.

Well done to the club for getting this done and well deserved after a great season. We wil hopefully get a good transfer fee for him in the future.

caught a local bus this morning and was stunned at the number of young, obese passengers who got on before I got off. 7 to be exact. All at least 20 stones or more and none were particularly tall. (1 male, 6 females, for the record.) Not one of them looked over 30, most were probably early 20s and 2 of them had mobility problems.
I`m not condemning any one and I realise that this was a snapshot in time, which has perhaps given me a completely false picture of the real extent of the problem.
I don`t have any stats but I`m fairly certain that we, as a nation, are getting heavier. Where has it all gone wrong?
Computer games must be one of the causes. You very rarely see kids out playing in parks nowadays.

POTY was a hard choice but I ended up going for Chris Hamilton. I think he has been brilliant in the middle of the park. You could see the gaps left in the midfield when he was subbed in our only defeat this season to Montrose. I think Benedictus will win it and will be well deserved.
YPOTY- Matty Todd. He has been brilliant this season and has scored some vital goals.
GOTY- Todd Vs Airdrie.

Peterhead has hotels?
Apparently very cheap hotels lol £15 each

I know a few people who have booked hotels up in Peterhead in anticipation that we are going to win the league on the 11th. The Rosyth supporters bus is full and we have had that much interest we probably could have filled another mini bus.

Done a pub crawl around Montrose, nice town with some cracking pubs. Good three points, titles in the bag, happy days!
Was some atmosphere in the golf inn after the game

Great win yesterday. KRH was a standout for me and hopefully we can get him signed up for the next couple of seasons.
We did make it hard for ourselves near the end though.
-
Win today and the league is ours. I don't think we will have a big travelling support because of the Scotland game.
-
We had Jock Taylor representing the Rosyth bus yesterday and I am sure he will give us an update on the way up to Montrose tomorrow.
Cheers for your update digs.

It is a show of ambition and stability from the club. I would imagine McPake has been told he will be backed in the transfer window because we will need to add to the squad.
I would personally have waited until the league was won to announce it.
I would also be surprised if McPake is here until 2026. If the good form continues he will attract interest from bigger clubs. We also know that football is ruthless and he could be shown the exit door by 2026.
One thing that will have to improve next season if we go up is picking up more wins at home.

Can see pars fans ending up buying tickets for h upper and lower in the main stand.

Can see us selling out our section today.

Rather see the Pars getting first team affairs sorted before shovelling money into a money pit like Rosyth.
Would love to see us return to the project when we are in a better position on the field.
We are spending money leasing the civil and also having to pay to rent pitreavie.
-
One of the main reasons he joined us was the promise of the new training facilities at the civil service. I am sure Cook and Meggle took him down as part of his interview here. If it is going to be ready for next season the work will need to start very soon.

They have been very good at keeping the fans updated and have gave it a good try to get the game on. Looks likely we will be making the long journey midweek, maybe for a title party?

Didn't know they had appointed someone, but looks like progress is being made
They will hopefully put an article up on COWS about him. He was telling us he had recently moved back from Australia. He seemed very friendly.

Alister Burn the new commercial manager was going around the ground before the game vs Alloa introducing himself. Looks like things could start to be moving forward off the park.

I think another season in this league could mean administration for Falkirk.

Can someone remind me why this game is at 4pm? Really weird to have a match kickoff then.
Scotland vs Cyprus at 2pm

I doubt Rangers will offer KRH a new deal because they are trying to get players off the wage bill. Kai Kennedy is one they are trying to move on and has been linked with a move to America. Hopefully we will offer KRH a 2 year deal in the summer.
Hamilton and Todd you would imagine will be getting monitored by other clubs after some great performances they have put in this season.
-
A great second half performance and could have ended up being 5 or 6. If we avoid any daft dropped points the title will be ours.
The club could be facing a fine after some of the objects thrown on to the pitch and the referee put a lighter in his pocket before the final whistle.

Saturday home end

Was speaking to David from the club shop on Saturday and he was telling me Falkirk have said they will be refunding anyone who has bought home end tickets with a Fife postcode.
