Deutsch Par
Wouldn't worry. Newspapers need to fill their pages of deceit with more lies and fabrication.This.Scottish media "writers" trawl forums like this one to come up with their next "exclusive". If we made something up it will probably be in the Record or Sun by next week.
ExxyJj
"A few of the players have been attracting interest from even Premier League clubs so it makes it really difficult to get them signed up. Guys like Andy Geggan are attracting interest from Partick Thistle so it shows you that it is going to be difficult to keep guys like that." Adam101
the newspapers have heard AJ's report and stuck it in their papers lazy journalism but they need something and don't have the man power to uncover their own stories
The Coach
I hope he stays, can't beat a Geggan header!
Secure Par
I hope he stays. But the attraction of playing top league football, more money and less travel could tempt him. A football career is short so money talks. I'm sure AJ will have another player on his mind already to bring in if Geggan did go.
Bojack Horseman
He's had an excellent season and I'd like to see him stay but he's definitely replaceable if need be. Especially with AJ's track record of signings.
Piracy
He's been well decent this season. However the season before he and Josh went back the way. I think he's an integral part of the team AJ is creating. Love him to stay
Superally
Probably the best free scoring midfielder we have had since Robbo. Would like him to stay but if he moves on it will be with my best wishes and thanks
SusieQ
Hope we don't lose him but if he decides to move on he would go with the utmost respect and sincere thanks for sticking around through the hard times and playing a massive part in our recovery. Piracy
I think we'll keep the majority of the players we want to keep, if that makes sense. Most have still a lot to prove and the step up should give many of them the personal challenge they're needing (probably bullsh*t lol)I don't think it's always down to just an increased salary although it is for some players. I think most want to play for us.
GG Riva
''I don't think it's always down to just an increased salary although it is for some players. I think most want to play for us.''Without wanting to be overly cynical, you're thinking like a fan, Piracy. Very few footballers play for the jersey these days, so it almost always IS about the salary. If Partick offer Geggan more than we can, he'll almost certainly go and you couldn't blame him. He'd get the chance to play in the top flight and save himself a couple of hours travelling time during the week. They'd be able to offer him a signing on fee as he's out of contract, so there'd be no transfer fee.Like you, I hope he stays - he's had a great season. Paradox
He's been the beating heart of our team this season imo. When he plays well, the team does too.Vital that we keep him. I would say that getting him to stay would be as significant as Faiss staying.Best midfielder in League 1 this season imo.
