Motorway Driving

As it stands we have a maximum speed limit, but we don't have a minimum speed limit for motorway driving.  With the exception of road work areas, there should be a minimum of 55mph, for all vehicles.

Having had the experience of being part of a small convoy last weekend, where one elderly driver struggled to maintain 70mph, I continually found myself travelling at 50mph, perhaps even at 45 on occasion whilst others whizzed by.  I felt I was putting others in danger by not meeting the conditions of the type of road, the weather and the like....

You can actually be prosecuted on any road for driving too slowly. However, since it is a judgment call it is very difficult to get a prosecution.

Whats speed is too slow for a 70/60/40 or 30mph n everyone's opinion and does it depend on the driving conditions/traffic?
