The Roy Barry Fan Club
The Heritage Trust are delighted to announce that we have close to a full turnout of the 1968 team at the Open Day on 16 July at the Glen Pavilion.Confirmed for the day are Willie Callaghan, John McGarty, Roy Barry, Tom Callaghan, Bert Paton, Paddy Gardner, Alex Edwards. That's seven of the team We also have Alex Totten who played earlier in the cup run. Many thanks to Chris Wishart and Roy Barry for all their hard work. There will be an opportunity to meet members of the team at the Heritage Trust stand, chat to them and perhaps ask them to sign a specially produced pamphlet which details the 1968 cup run. Look for us in front of a poster showing photographs of the '68 team.1970 Par and I will be also selling Dunfermline cookbooks, sets of heritage coasters and other items. We hope to see as many of you as possible. Guest The Beer Baron
Also sad that I'll be missing this. I would love nothing more than to shake Bert Paton's hand and simply tell him how much I enjoyed watching his team, and to thank him for the amazing memories of that era.
