Interested to find out the weirdest or most obscure (organised) sports people have been to see live, and also how many different ones. I'll start with: Football Rugby Union Rugby League American Football Darts Horse Racing Cricket Stock Car racing Ice Hockey That's 9, which seems kind of low tbh. Must be a few more I'm forgetting. Anyway, what about others?

Not a great game, despite 6 goals! We looked pretty poor at times, so many unforced errors, especially the one for QoS's 2nd. Credit to the boys for fighting back each time, but it would have been a travesty if we'd got a winner in the end. Luckily, that never looked remotely likely... 😞 Liked the look of QoS no 10 Connolly. He was already having a really good game and then scored an excellent goal (albeit gifted by us). Wouldn't be sorry to see him in the stripes.

I may be wrong about this, but was there not some change recently where businesses aren't meant to offer bags, but can give them if the customer asks? I can't find anything to support that, right enough, so I've maybe imagined it!

Re apps, I've mentioned it before, but Hermit for Android is a good option if you want to use the site but have it feel a bit more like an app. It's quite neat, although it takes a wee bit of setting up.

The best version of McArthur Park is by Andy Williams IMO.

Its only game 2 with him in charge. Shields and Whittaker get the credit for the ICT win.

I really like the sound of them bringing the various strands under one roof. That will hopefully encourage a stronger club identity with young players seeing and getting to know the first reamers, and a more fluid transition as they grow into senior players themselves.

I choose to believe this was the real one! 😉

I really like that idea. What if we bought him a season ticket for next season - a symbolic way of saying to him that he's back to being a fan again, he's still one of us, and he's very welcome. It also puts money into the club, which he would like, I think.

Long term, do our new owners agree that reintroducing standing areas to EEP would be beneficial to atmosphere and match day experience, and what steps will they take to try and achieve this? Thanks Buffy! 🙂

Ah, ok, that makes some sense, thanks. Still, wish they'd gone Sat/Sun rather than Fri/Sat. You would think they'd want to encourage a big crowd.

Does anyone know why this is on a Friday night? I had assumed it was for TV, but I don't think it's on anywhere. Had it been Saturday at 3 I probably would have gone through, but no chance am I going on Friday night.

The funny thing with hoping to make the top 5 is that the team in 5th is only 2 points behind the team in 1st. So if we consider it likely/possible to catch 5th, there's not really any reason we can't catch 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. It's just that that we probably can't call all of them at once!

Does that mean that no one told him officially about getting his caps? That's mental.

I thought Morton looked streets ahead compared with what we faced yesterday. Ayr were absolutely atrocious, I thought, much worse than Morton IMO, and definitely the worst team I've seen this season (including us at our worst).

Only been to Coaledge once, when we did that sponsored walk back in the day, but it was great place and as welcome a pint as I think I've ever had!
