  1. That picture is a bit of a PR disaster the way things are going just now. Talking of which, whoever does Rovers is a genius, whether its caricatures of latest signings, or Go Pro views of their winning goal within 30 minutes of the final whistle. I remember Kelty getting more column inches than us on social media when we were in same league last season. Back to us, what is happening? We looking like dead certs for 9th position just now. Hopefully they can pull somebody out a hat that can improve the team for Friday. I'm no really excited about an academy just now, when priority is a winning team on the pitch .
  2. I reckon we'll take maximum points, but only if their pink strip is available on the day. 1-2 Pars, otherwise 3-0 Jags.
  3. Untried as a manager? Would doubt it. Meggle as interim manager more likely.
  4. If we go down, then he would have to depart company, as we would be back to where we started. We should have enough in the fit players to defeat anyone in the lower leagues in a Play Off situation, but we know that isn't our strong point.
  5. I'm keeping my vote personal 😆
  6. Can we get an undecided up on the vote please, as I can't decide yet? Thanks I'm advance admin.
  7. No wins finished Grant, then draws with Hughes left us in 9th. The Play Off with Queens Park was one of the worst games at EEP. Can't remember us creating a single chance, setting us up to not lose, instead of trying to win. If we can't win over the next few games, then I reckon we'll be in Play Offs once more. Relegation would be a disaster and the club will haemorrhage a lot of fans.
  8. Probably could have done with Airdrie winning. Had we won today, it would have effectively ended any hope Arbroath have got, although Jim McIntyre looks likely to be working in the 3rd tier next year. We got a battle on our hands and probably need to go unbeaten in the next few games. Draws will probably relegate us, same as John Hughes.
  9. It never had an Italian grape near it. Rank rotten.
  10. I know nothing bout tactics I'm afraid. Think his work rate might spur others around him. Think Saturdays game will be the usual physical battle against those cloggers, so a grafter like him should give their back brick ****hoose defence a torrid time. Oh to have big Andy Smith still playing 😆
  11. According to St Johnstone fans, he gives a 100% every game and likes to get stuck in. Maybe just whats needed just now. Hopefully he can stay injury free and get us some much needed 3 points. I'd be ecstatic if we can finish 8th, or even higher right now. This signing gives us a fighting chance.
  12. Hard to pick a result from 2 teams on a horrendous run. Arbroath were weakened when big Dick left the building. I can't see them staying up tbh. Hopefully the board can provide a player, or two before then. We desperately need them. We're in a perilous position if we don't bag the points.
  13. If we are to stay up, then we will probably have to get a few in that are as good as the ones crocked. Only the board can save us now imo. Can't see McPake losing his job just yet. If we can't beat Arbroath, then I reckon we've had it for the season. Not winning in 8, is relegation waiting to happen. We need to finish above the Play Offs to survive.
  14. Board, management and players, in that order . Sack McPake and we still go down. I reckon McPake knows we're done, unless guys get back to fitness. I know fa about football, but he needs these guys back, or suitable replacements. I wonder if the board ask him, can we stay up with the current guys who are fit?
  15. Then the board are at fault. Fair enough we've had our injuries, but there is no way he has become a bad manager over the last 2 months. I'll only criticise him for not playing these young players from last season, when we won the league with a handful of games to go. Think we were trying for some record of not losing games. I have no idea what it was. It historical now.
  16. He did say we need help a few weeks back. I reckon I knew what he meant. It seems to me that the board don't need to panic, as priority lies elsewhere. If only we had a supporter on our board like Ross McArthur. I wouldn't know the guy Cook from anytime I've been at the football. Replacing McPake just now will make no difference. I hope he walks. Unless the better injured players are back soon, then the writing on the wall.
  17. Ain't looking good. I hope McPake isn't used as a scapegoat for all our woes. Surely if we go down, the club will lose money? Can the board write off their investment, reg a training facility. I'm afraid Craig Wighton and the other ones that experienced relegation the last time, won't dig us out of a hole. Be better money to made in shipping surely?
  18. I prefer Brian Clough famous quote. Football is a beautiful game, it should be played beautifully.
  19. A defeat never bothers me, unless it the Skol Cup Final v Hibs. Never went to another final after that . I probably get bored more, if its a **** game 😆 Anyhoo lets hope we get 3 points Saturday, fast paced, end to end, a barrow load of goals , 1 2s, a sending off and a Stephens bridie with some filling in it.
  20. Surely only a heavy fall of snaw will stop this. The MET (no the ones in blue) is usually spot on, like Michael Fish.
  21. I thought he declared himself bankrupt and was mentally unwell? Has his circumstances changed regarding bankruptcy?
  22. Can all the clubs not get together at end of season and tell the BBC to GTF. What benefits do any club get from having this corrupt organisation hanging around? Everyone is getting fleeced.
  23. You would expect a bit of a backlash from the players after such a shocker of a result. Has to be three points.. 1-0 home win and our most important result this year. Maybe needing to be a bit Olivia Newton-John.
  24. Don't think McPake has become a bad manager over the last few months. Injuries and a lack of the right signings have made us look bad. I haven't seen the new guys playing yet, so have no idea if they'll make the cut. My only criticism of the manager was playing injured players over the young fit players on the bench. Obviously the German board will have different ways to make the club more successful than us. Think priority is a winning team on the park. We were 4th a few months back, look at us now. I'd say we got more chance of finishing in the wrong Play Off just now. I see on that other site people calling him McFake and seriously wanting him sacked. Bizarre.
