  1. Queens have been much better since they changed manager recently. Add to that out ever growing injury list and a draw would be a decent result
  2. We do need help. A couple of weeks ago, it looked liked we were getting some back but in fact, we are suffering the opposite. I watched Summers take a heavy blow on his ankle on Tuesday. I’m sure he would have been subbed if we’d have had an option
  3. Don’t get me started on our scout always being at our games on a Saturday
  4. Team likely to be:- mehmet Fisher Hamilton otoo comrie Allan Chalmers edwards moffat wighton Jakubiak
  5. Thiago Silva is still performing at a high level and is 39
  6. I retired at 34. Came back for a few games at 38 and retired at 51 ! 32 is no age at all, especially for a sweeper type
  7. Not confirmed as reoccurrences but if they are then it’s a valid question, perhaps ? I do get that we are short on numbers and I do get players sometimes will pass themselves fit. I played countless times with an injury. Once I played all season with a fractured ankle!
  8. Looks like both Breen and Bene have suffered a reoccurrence of their injury? not sure we have anyone left to sit on a bench ? FFS. You have to perhaps question the medical staff on Breen and Bene?
  9. I’d play Sharp. He has a mistake in him too, but he is much better with his distribution.
  10. Grant is correct. You need a reference point to accurately answer the question but I’m assuming you mean from when McPake has come in? the average age of the team has come down and we have some good players on long contracts, the goalkeeper aside. the team has something about them and don’t give up easily. In summary, the manager has done a good job. We are 4th but that can be marked up due to the long term injuries to key players. the big problem area is scoring goals. I watched Jakubiak twice jog into the box and unsurprisingly was not in position to get on the end of balls by Chalmers and MOH. We don’t have anyone willing to bust a gut to get a goal, other than Todd. McCann tries hard, but lacks composure and his decision making is not the best. Wighton is the most talented finisher, but again, he often doesn’t make the right runs and rarely tries to get across defenders this is an area where the manager has failed so far. off the pitch, there are numbers I’ve been quoted from a number of sources which suggest we are shelling out considerable amounts on director salaries. Have these people made us better ? Are they providing value for money?
  11. Exactly, Digs. Not too many league one clubs will have had CEOs and marketing directors on their wage bill?
  12. Hosler has dislocated his shoulder. Fisher looks like he’s done ankle ligaments. Moffat, maybe a groin strain? arbroath were pish, to be fair, but if we can beat QP, we will be in decent shape
  13. One thing that’s always puzzled me is why our scout is at OUR games? answers on a postcard please
  14. A back four seems the sensible way to go until we have Benedictus and Breen available? That would mean Hamilton or Otoo could play in midfield. It would also allow Hosler and Moffat to concentrate more on attacking rather than having to track back so much. I would also give Wighton a few games. Jakubiak has as much chance of scoring as I do. comrie fisher Hamilton Edwards Allan Otoo Hosler Todd Moffat Wighton
  15. Fisher will be a a top player
  16. We have no height really. Every ball in the box spells danger. Otoo really weak in the air. Mehmet gives a goal away. Can’t say I’m his biggest fan
  17. Pretty confident we can go there and win ? A similar level as Saturday or the last time we played Morton, will suffice
  18. Your last sentence is spot on. 👆
  19. I agreed that something needed to change first half or we risked being out of the game before half time, however a change to a traditional back 4 would probably have worked better? Comrie tight on Murphy and deploy Edwards tight in Chalmers. Get Fisher on for Breen and pull Otoo into left centre back
  20. I’ve been pretty happy with Sharp, overall His ability with the ball at his feet is far superior to Mehmet.
  21. Well done to David and Drew for replying to the mails. A knee jerk reaction from a number of us, but as has been said already, a heads up announcement would have prevented all the misunderstandings. the subsequent abuse of a Pars employee is wholly unacceptable, however
