Heard that as well. To me it’s a no brainer and I’m not sure why it hasn’t happened yet. Can’t imagine it would be costly and would give short term cover and depth while Todd, KRH, Jak etc get fit again. Definitely a better option coming off the bench for 20 minutes than a string of untested kids. Also adds much needed experience to the squad.

Does not fit the model though I suppose.

With regards to Smith, do we have space in the squad (once everyone's fit) with Moffat and Summers sighed? What I would say is that if we're taking a longer term view I'd absolutely take Smith with the prospect that he's more likely to join permanently?

Young players on long term deals. If Todd keeps scoring I’d expect interest in him soon. And Otoo just gets better every week. Chuck in KRH, Fisher, Edwards, McCann etc. when was the last time we had so many good young players.

Don’t disagree about Mehmet but any team missing it’s 3 main centre half’s will struggle at set plays.

I’d probably play M’OH ahead of Comrie at RWB as it’s more attacking. Nice to potentially have some selection decisions to make for a change!

I was in attendance and both JM and DC should be commended for their openness, JM in particular.

I found it more interesting than the ones last year as we aren’t winning every week so a few more challenging questions especially for JM. His answers were all pretty detailed and thoughtful.

Good luck to JMac. He built a very exciting team at East End over a few years. Liked a 4-4-2 with wingers like Cardle, Graham and Gibson. Was on a hiding to nothing in the Premier with little or no money.
