Think you are letting Grant off the hook there. The set-up was a complete shambles. Dom Thomas as a deep sitting midfielder. The back line was all over the place. He had a near full pre-season to work with his team. Playing that system at Ibrox was delusional. I personally though his set-up was worse that Yogis.
He came in saying stuff like '' It not Real Madrid we're playing, it's Partick Thistle''. ''I blow everyone's CV out the water''. If you come out with nonsense like that, your setting yourself up for a fall.
I have zero sympathy for him. He is the worst Dunfermline manager I've witnessed since following Pars from 1985. 13 games and no wins. That's not his inexperienced coaching staff fault. He should've demanded a proper coaching team in place if he thought the team he inherited wasn't good enough. Like McPake demanded.
Hard to disagree with any of that.

If that’s the case I’d be walking away. Surprised we haven’t TBH. That said if the player wants to sign he can surely tell the agent he is happy and to stuff their extra demands.

Given the Clubs much quoted mantra around targets is ‘must want to be here, must be good character, must fit in’ etc I’m surprised that we haven’t withdrawn the offer as DW does not sound like he fits any of that.

Seen a few comments about squad depth etc. How good were the Pars today?? I thought very good. Otoo, Bene, Chalmers and McCann were outstanding. And that goal from Paul Allan….
Spirit goes a long way!

Just think if we added Byrne and Wotherspoon as examples plus a few half decent loans. Then the squad would be looking pretty 👍🏻

Are Rovers also putting their prices up for their own fans for those games? Especially those in the stand behind the goal at the home end.
I think they would have to as they can’t charge different prices for home and away fans?

Pretty poor from Raith that.

Defo training with the Pars today.

£27 for second tier football in Scotland is an absolute scandal. I was looking forward to this game but you have to draw the line somewhere so I’ll give it a miss.

I think they’ve got form for this. Sure the same happened with QOS last season?

McCann can get consistency regarding accuracy in front of goal, we've got a player.
Yip, fast, strong, good in the air, can beat a man. If he could add a bit of composure in front of goal we have a player.
Always liked him largely because he puts in a proper shift (unlike a number of supposedly better players in recent years).

Struggling to see what the issues are. It works really well for me in iPhone and iPad. Massive improvement on the previous website.

Wonder if Dundee signing another striker yesterday might change things again?

If he is over his injury then that would be good business.

Yep, top two qualify automatically, plus 3 more via playoff (related to the Nations league, not finishing 3rd in this group, I think)
Thanks, didn’t realise that. Crikey even we can’t make a mess of it from here…..

So the top 2 qualify?

I like them both, the second one in particular.
I guess if you want to sell a decent amount then they need to stand out a bit and they certainly do. Certainly far from boring.

This might be unpopular but we need to sign better than Otoo.
I would have agreed with you after his first few games but I though he got better and better as he played more games. I’d be happy to sign him as he can cover LCB and LB. That said I’d be starting Edwards and Breen ahead of him but a great option and plenty of room to improve.
Like KRH getting away from Old Firm B teams and playing proper football benefited him massively.

Looks like opposition to this is building. I think Brora are the only Club to openly support it will a number of teams have confirmed they oppose it. Hopefully the Pars will come out and say they are voting against it or at least consulting fans.
-
Read it more as a reflection on the season. I think he’d be harder to replace than some think.

Be amazed if we weren’t looking at Paton and Gallagher at Airdrie given their goals. Whether we get them or not us another matter.
Wonder if we fancy some other Airdrie players given McPKes admiration of them?

Lesser Hampden would be a much better away day experience next season 😁

I think Dundee will win convincingly. I don’t have much love for either team so not hugely fussed. Mind you who would rule out a Dom Thomas masterclass…..

Think Docherty has said he is looking for another keeper on loan.
