  1. At least they managed to score against QP with their cobbled together squad of Championship “rejects”. That is more than the useless underachievers taking a wage at EEP could do.
  2. Those teams may not have been good enough to win the league, but their confidence will be riding high. Certainly higher than a team that has been rattling around relegation most of the season. I am sure Hughes will set out with a positive mindset, as he has since he started. A positive mindset means sod all if the competence is lacking on the pitch. This is not Private Frazer stuff, this is the cold hard reality. It will rank as a minor miracle if the Pars stay up. One that will have other teams cursing their rotten luck, as I am sure it will be down to luck if the miracle does happen.
  3. The 12th man (particularly the young team) is the player of the season for me. Consistent performer in a terrible season. Turning up and doing the business for every game.
  4. Arbroath 1 v 1 Morton Ayr 1 v 1 Partick Dunfermline 2 v 1 QoS (30/4570) ICT 2 v 1 Hamilton Raith 1 v 2 Killie
  5. Let’s hope that McInnes is still concomitant to presiding over teams that bottle it in big games. Campbell has been here before. The circumstances of Friday’s game are remarkably similar to Tannadice 1996 - albeit with longer odds.
  6. Any person still attending Starks Park now is not only supporting the team. Let us not forget McGlynn’s role in this.
  7. I was expecting the topical McGlashan clip.
  8. Feeling the love here! Like Cove, nouveau riche arrivistes.
  9. To use the quote from the late Ebbe Skovdhal. Statistics are like mini skirts. They reveal a lot but often keep the most important things hidden. Morton ground out a result that suited them.
  10. Congratulations on saving a train fare.
  11. Let’s hope that this will become appropriate walking out on to the pitch music for them in a few months time.
  12. It seems to go a bit deeper than his punditry in this case - maybe harking back to the days of McCoist (Pen), 89. I like him as a pundit these days. What pundits do you prefer?
  13. She actually said that it should not be ruled out. Do you think it should be - in all circumstances (even after the use of chemical or nuclear weapons)? it is not really her idea is it? It is what Ukrainians are asking for. There are politicians going further than her and positively advocating a no fly zone.
  14. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-fc-roman-abramovich-sanction-deal-b2033120.html Three suspends sponsorship and asks for name to be removed for the shirt. If the boot sponsors get in quick, Chelsea may end up playing tonight in their pants, vests and stocking soles.
  15. Just came on here to say that. There is obviously no swear box at Real Kashmir FC. **** o’ a man for the ****ing swearing.
  16. You did yourself a favour. Was it not in Dundee?
  17. https://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/search-judgments/judgment?id=d22e28a7-8980-69d2-b500-ff0000d74aa7 Civil case details. It was interesting to read the taxi driver's statements as they have been selectively quoted elsewhere (guess?) to give a different slant.
  18. If I was David Robertson (manager in Kashmir), I would be contacting my lawyers over that. Pretty shoddy from the Record.
  19. Two paragraphs, two falsehoods - as corrected above. Who is Val McDermott? Perhaps you mean Val McDermid?
  20. It just occurred to me that the German reputation for efficiency and footballing success applies to only the West of the country. I am beginning to fear the owners may in fact be East Germans.
  21. League 1 next season and ****s know long after that.
