  1. No defending this pish. We should not be losing this match.
  2. I'm being diplomatic. I've concerns, let's see the accounts for last season, fans will have their own opinions then.
  3. The 7 figure debt for last season is probably true. Projected debt this season if true is a concern. However the Board said at the recent Patrons meeting it's all covered, so fair one.
  4. It doesn't make any logical sense.
  5. Lennon scoring, like a boot in the baws on top of the scudding
  6. How many points for a shy? Rugby, wtf is it awe aboot?
  7. Get this in the f*ckin sea!
  8. Think the ground staff do well with the pitch in general but the US heating is junk.
  9. I heard a while back Shields walked for reasons other than officially put out there, however I can't say it's true so I won't say the reasons. But, I do wonder about things.
  10. Strange demeanour I thought. Couldn't get my head round the disrespect he showed his club, employer and supporters. I'd have hated having him at EEP. What a *****.
  11. McPake actually did a really good job last season considering the difficult situation he inherited. He obviously rewarded the players who got us promotion. His record of signing players hasn't been the worst. The chronic injury situation has really hampered any progress we might have seen if it hadn't been so bad. I don't believe McPake is a bad manager and in the main we don't have bad players. That all said it counts for nothing if we don't start getting results with immediate effect, i.e this Saturday. Fans have been pretty forgiving but last Saturday was both brutal and utterly baffling. We've got to get behind them on Saturday and show patience because confidence will be fragile after that catastrophe.
  12. I don't mind a Friday game, but I'd rather a traditional Saturday kick off.
  13. When can I collect my prize? Just aff ma time machine.
  14. The Craw would be a good addition.
  15. Greg Shields leaving has left a real hole to fill. I'm still disappointed at his departure and initially I did wonder if he'd left because he was miffed because something was wrong with how he was being supported etc. But we have to accept the official release from the club at the time. I wonder if we're any closer to filling the post. A lot of suggestions about Cardle being s candidate, I personally wouldn't be against it.
  16. On the subject of McCann, he's a big, rapid player and I think he puts in a shift, but he's not much of a football player. I usually don't like singling out players but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at how McCann can't seem to carry out the basics.
  17. Tbf been a few fans saying similar last night and this morning. I did similar when the 4th went in. Just sat down with folded arms. Really was a bafflingly rank performance.
  18. I'm behind McPake. Injuries have been horrendous. I think we're capable of getting back on our feet and performing to a competent level.
  19. He used to be Bobopar I'm sure.
  20. Stephen Taylor stepped down as Finance Director last October after a year in that role as the club were "looking to revise the structure of the finance team at the club". Hopefully we have successfully revised restructuring of our the clubs finance team. Incidentally I'm not saying it's in anyway significant. Greg Shields leaving was a blow. I really thought he was the kinda guy we needed in at the club in any capacity.
  21. Personally not how I seen, or see it. I've been consistent, but that's from a personal perspective. But I acknowledge yesterday's result will have heightened emotions.
  22. Fact is some Patrons are not happy about some aspects of how the club is being run (debt levels, sustainability, training academy progress, strategy). By some accounts I've heard the Board members were not happy about being hit with difficult questions at the meeting. I heard from a few folk that some of our resident influential crowd are worried our European board members will walk away after the meeting. I very much doubt they would or will walk away but no doubt they were uncomfortable about the meeting. The Board need to understand the worry about transparency from our support. They really need to listen and take onboard what's being said by the fanbase. Respect and consideration for the fanbase should be prevelant in their business strategy for this club. They should not be surprised that straight talking is a Scottish trait, they should not become defensive when asked about our club. They're in charge, not David Cook, or anyone else, it's down to them, so it's them who need to provide effective leadership because something is clearly wrong at the club.
