  1. Christ, providing he was willing to go without a payout he should've been told to go. My worry, amongst many other with Hughes is how much of a premium he puts on Premier league experience, I worry about who we'll bring in next month.
  2. That was an option that we didn't take up? Christ.
  3. If we're needing to free up wages then simply don't renew Connollys loan, he's absolutely wash.
  4. John Hughes philosophy of playing the ball about slowly, slowly, slowly and retaining possession without any real chances is absolutely scintillating to watch. He needs to make changes and subs, this is grim. You're lucky if we have one or two chances a game under Hughes, while we're still gifting goals.
  5. I'd far rather Nicky Clark than Cummings. Cummings is exactly the type of player we don't need.
  6. We consistently gift away goals, brutal.
  7. Marc Connolly with a howler from a Killie long ball which let's Shaw in at an acute angle, a good save from OFW. That's all Killie seem to have, the long ball and set pieces.
  8. Dow on the left got slide tackled while trying to go past the Killie player, he got up quickest though to cut back to the intended target of McCann, who's fresh air swipe was a handy dummy for Wighton to stroke it in. McCann then gives the "shhhhh" to the Killie stand. That doesn't seem accurate at all. It's been maybe 50/50, with Dunfermline shading it since the goal.
  9. A good finish from Wighton! Nice assist and perseverance from Dow aswell.
  10. He slipped, threw his arms in the air and shouted for a penalty? That's some slip. We've lined up as what looks like a 4231, Dow on the left with Wighton in behind. Killie look vulnerable on the break but we've not exactly got much pace without Kennedy. Most of Killie joy is coming from long balls to Ollie Shaw who's got the beating of Connolly again.
  11. I don't beleive for a second referees are biased, but the levels of incompetence that have absolutely ****ed us, first against Hamilton, and now against Killie is sickening.
  12. Killie score from a penalty, was as clear a dive as you'll see.
  13. Kennedy on the bench is a surprise.
  14. Could be a 41212 narrow? Dow behind the strikers, Todd and Allan as the middle two?
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59555258 This could be massive news for us!
  16. +1 For this idea thank you. The dog is also essential, thank you.
  17. Aye same, I got chucked out to left back. Was it because the other right back was better than me? Possibly. It did however get me working on my left, and in a bit of time I could adequately punt the ball up the line for my poor striker to chase, like the diidy player I was! Edited to add: Santi Cazorla was wonderfully two footed. As was Callum Woods. I'd rather have Callum Woods obviously!
  18. If nothing else, I found out today Judas had a surname.
  19. I'm fully with you with regards to players having a weak foot, if you're a full time professional footballer you should at least be adequate with all your tools.
  20. If the ball was fizzed in accurately I wouldn't call it a bad pass. However if its to the wrong foot, if its bouncing and bobbling or if you're a winger and you're having to massively break stride... We're never going to get the finished article obviously at this level but his passing is comparatively poor from what you'd expect at this level... I'd love him to Shaun Rooney it, but I actually quite enjoyed watching Rooney cut about.
  21. Would honestly have him down as our worst regular starter. Can give the likes of McDonald slack because he's playing out of position, but Edwards is at best at league 1/2 full back, his weight of pass is consistently awful, constantly puts the receiving man either under pressure, or having to take more touches than what's needed.
  22. Hard to judge how Martin will be after this injury, but left back is one of our weakest positions.
  23. The job he done with St Mirren was incredible.
  24. Not sure how he'll approach this, without Thomas I really worry about a line of creativity to take the ball upto the forward line. McDonald on the right hasn't worked for me bar his sub appearance v Morton. Yogi mentioned about Todd playing further right at the meet the manager night I'm sure, might he moved Todd out there to offer more defensive protection, so as to bring in another striker?
