  1. Half time, bet365 says we've had 3 shots off target, 1 on, and Hamilton have had two off target with one on, we've had more possession but we're normally so painfully slow at moving it that Hamilton are back and set up.
  2. If any team is going to win this it'll be by a goal, tight. I missed the opening ten so missed our goal, but chances seem very thin on the ground, Lawless hit the bar with a good attempt rather than a good chance if you get me? Hamilton were probably on top up till they scored, we maybe are on top now but all that means is allot of passing.
  3. While we were unlucky to lose to a degree, I don't see how we deserved to win, Arbroath had a good few chances of there own in the second half, and defended far better than us. He then gave extended contract to Allan and Todd.
  4. Well, Wighton, O'Hara and Todorov have all scored goals at this level, mightve been a good idea to figure out a system that gets the best out of those players? As it is he's ostracised two of them and his 451 formation doesn't look like it'll work with O'Hara. Just look at the impact the managers have had of Ayr, Morton and QoTS, then look at us, and none of them have had the resources that Hughes had, the team on Saturday had two Grant signings, Dorrans who Hughes thinks is the best player at the club, and Pybus, who was our best player. There was five Hughes signings, it's his team to a decent degree. It was Hughes who decided Gaspuitis was to go and it was Hughes who brought in Ambrose who's been responsible for the losing goals against Killie and Arbroath. Trying to absolve Hughes of blame is bizarre.
  5. Just like Peter Grant. It's almost like our board have a type, would rather just have a competent manager.
  6. The fife's finest? Did the Raith supporters group set out to knee cap him like?
  7. When I watched him against Rangers he did score a goal, but he also should've given away a few penalties, he's still pretty gubbins like.
  8. I fully get your first point and I agree with it, however a success story is only successful if the players are playing and playing well, as it is in the first transfer window he had Yogi signed a bunch of centre mids, having lamented that the midfield wasn't strong enough, and Allan and Todd haven't played in there positions since. I also like Allan, looks a cool and composed footballer and truthfully in that ball recycling role has he done any worse than Dorrans or Chalmers? But he won't get a look in now, he's way down the pecking order. I think he played for Stennt for a bit, I remember Fife elite sending him out to Spain to do a training camp.
  9. Think they'd rather at Starks than East End Park. They're still in with a chance of the playoffs, have got to the challenge Cup final and are managed by a decent manager, who has a track record of developing and bringing through youth players from Fife elite. We're one of the favourites for relegation, have had a succession of poor managerial appointments and the last youth player we brought through and sold on was Pj Crossan. I know Pars fans who don't want to go to EEP atm, let alone the players.
  10. When Martin was given an extension Fenton should've went out. I'm still baffled as to why Allan and Todd have been given extensions tbh.
  11. Would the other one be the challenge Cup final? I didn't even bother going to Perth for that!
  12. Three years earlier that matey! I was right in line with Doumbes goal, horrible.
  13. It was hard to get a grip with what our shape was due to watching on a stream but I thought we started off as a 4231, with Pybus and Chalmers deep. I've not been Pybus biggest fan but I genuinely thought he was our best player, he was the one who was coming to receive the ball and try and get things moving, I thought that would be Chalmers but he was an empty shirt.
  14. Aye, sure he's a trained sparky but was working for Dpd or something.
  15. Well aware of who Donaldson is, he's the bloke marking the striker, Ambrose is the centre back, who for a throw in from the Arbroath half is 2 yards away from the right touchline and let's the ball drop over him, Donaldson then follows his man across (as you'd expect) and then eventually Edwards reacts far too late to the danger at the back post. Are there any squad numbers you're needing help with?
  16. No, they're really not. How you can proportion the same amount of blame to Donaldson, as you can Ambrose is baffling.
  17. I did not play against Arbroath at the weekend.
  18. Nope, Donaldson done everything you'd expect a defender to do at the goal when trying to cover up a mistake, Edwards is actually almost as culpable as Ambrose, however the criticism for Edwards is that he doesn't react to a mistake, in Ambrose you have the guy that instigated it all. It's not an agenda, talk of luck is absolutely nonsense though.
  19. That Arbroath also had chances to score, it wasn't like it was a tale of hard luck where Arbroath have scored a worldy from nothing, they had a few chances, we had a few chances, but truthfully we looked utterly dreadful. Arbroath scored from our defence being rubbish, Ambrose again being at fault. That's not bad luck, in his short time here how often has Ambrose ****ed up? That isn't bad luck. We have failed to score in half of Hughes games, that's not bad luck.
  20. Would mean dropping Lawless or Dow, not happening.
  21. Did we? We had three opportunities in ninety minutes, Arbroath had just as much.
  22. What on earth has Chalmers done to justify starting? He was absolutely rancid yesterday. A truly horrendous signing. Yogi doesn't want to play two up top because it would then leave him in the situation of admitting he's ****ed up with his signings, if we plays two up top who does he play in the middle? The best player at the club in Dorrans? His signings Polworth and Chalmers? Pybus who was the best centre mid yesterday? Todd and Allan who he's given new deals to? He's just full of absolute pish, apparently the midfield wasn't strong enough when he joined, we'll you've signed centre mids so now what Yogi? Once again our board got drawn in by the lousiest car salesmen in town, when you go through all the absolute rubbish he's spouted, then went back on he just looks ridiculous. Talk of keeping it tight and hoping to nick a goal is bollocks, QoTS and Ayr haven't bothered with that and they're doing alright? Morton likewise have done well(anyone remember when they got a new manager and spanked a hatful of goals past us?) Absolutely Scunnered with the season and the club, no decision our board takes seems logical when it comes down to the footballing side.
  23. It's so utterly depressing, what we're watching is just the culmination of years of mismanagement on a footballing level, if we were to get rid of Hughes our board would just appoint another patter merchant full of rubbish soundbites. Just rinse and repeat, I had a hope the Germans would improve us in that regard but it's still the exact same.
  24. Making four subs, two of them defenders. And somehow Chalmers stays on, looooooooooooool.
