  1. Even if it is, is that a bad thing? From our attendances and commercial endeavours we should have more than enough money for transfers and wages to have a side challenging for the top of the championship. If the Germans are then investing in the infrastructure is that a bad thing?
  2. Is talk of relegation now realistic?
  3. I'd agree, it's the system and players he's in with that is crushing him atm. Allan is flat out dreadful and I've no idea what's happened to Summers, he looked class but he's become a passenger.
  4. Tbf, he wasn't actually bad. His first season at Sunderland was mightily impressive, and keeping them up was good going. Was interesting reading his autobiography and it became pretty clear his heart just simply wasn't in it for Ipswich.
  5. We are ganting. Don't beleive McPake has it in him to turn this around tbh.
  6. It bothers me, not in the sense that I'll be raging on a Sunday. More that come the following Saturday it just doesn't look nearly as appealing and I'll just feel a bit apathetic about going. Away days have bore the brunt of that. I doubt I'll go to many, if any more until the rest of the season. The season ticket means I'll be there tomorrow but I can't say I'm particularly excited for it. Wouldn't blame anyone who's swithering, looking outside and the rain and wind is going tonto, the six nations is on, and you'll be £21 better of. Cannae blame anyone for not fancying it.
  7. Have no idea about that tbf, wasn't sure if the new one had came as a replacement or to help out with our massive injury list.
  8. I'd heard we had a new physio in.
  9. Exploring all avenues with regards to keeping costs down? Once explored you can then decide whether the other party are bringing enough to warrant what you would give up. It seems we ran the math, and didn't deem it as worth it.
  10. Can't have been too strong then eh? I've criticised the club in the past, I'll criticise the club in the future. I won't criticise them for not wanting another club to use there training ground as a first team stadium. What would Dunfermline have gotten out of this?
  11. Dunfermline done what was best for us then? I don't get how we can be blamed for this in the slightest. Considering the training ground still isn't up and running, and Rosyth have now folded it's some leap to blame Dunfermline for this.
  12. His off the ball movement needs improvement undoubtedly, he doesn't seem to have the nous atm to sniff out those runs. I only seen Holmes for about 20 minutes before I got myself away but I actually thought his off the ball movement was better. Whether that translates to goals and chances will remain to be seen of course.
  13. You don't reckon McCann works hard for the team? Hears the thing, when we were the level below, playing against inferior opposition there was still frequent moans and groans that we weren't very good to watch. Defensively resolute aye, hard to play and score against but we weren't sexy. The only attacking players that truly shone were the wing backs (Edwards and KRH) and the midfield runner (Todd). The system we play, and the we play isn't conducive for our attacking strikers to look good. We're now a level up playing against better defenders and teams, that isn't going to change. The drama is we've lost that midfield runner who is pretty key, MoH isn't actually doing that bad but he's not got the delivery of KRH, and teams now realise Edwards is the danger and they've cut it out. It's upto McPake to come up with a different system, because no ones now looking good in this one.
  14. I don't think there's been much, if anything said about the meeting from people who were there, which people had inferred that it must've went well?
  15. Anyone who doesn't think we're in a relegation battle is absolutely deluded, that was grim everywhere. QP and today, twice in a row where the team have just absolutely chucked it, McPake in the dugout was either sat down or leaning against the dugout, the contrast between him and Imrie was stark, we've got a young squad with a lack of leadership and there was heehaw coming from the dugout either, McPake just looked like he'd given up. We can rip apart the performance, and people will but it's safe to say there was nothing good, not a single redeeming feature from the performance. I left before the fifth, and was home and changed in HoB before the final whistle. On the way home I was thinking how grim it's been for young Pars fans, the last time we were a good championship side and they were actually able to go to games was the AJ playoff season, and even then the first half of that season was awful. 2018, christ.
  16. Rushing to give McPake an extension now looks like one of those bad decisions.
  17. Fisher out for 4-6 weeks according to PnB.
  18. Buzzing for this tbh. I reckon it'll be tight.
  19. I was once again, wrong.
  20. Nah, I reckon the player McPake was alluding to was Tommy Smith.
  21. Drive past it a few times a week and there's been some amount of progress, floodlights and the fencing is up for the pitch.
  22. Aye that was in the courier article. I always think sentences like that last one are misleading, did they not make a move or were the wages not right etc?
  23. Pictures of the trialists from yesterday. Number 9 looks like Isaac Fletcher Number 7 I'm unsure.
  24. Did anything come out of the shareholders meeting tonight?
