Why no Japanese or Thai?

Well, this escalated quickly...

Going back on topic, if cultural backwaters like Kirkcaldy and Falkirk can support a Japanese restaurant then why not Dunfermline?

Also, never trust a place that says Chinese AND Thai. It's like saying you do Italian and French.

Hate to say it but Falkirk has a Thai, Japanese (run by a constant cycle of chinese) and Tapas on top of the usual suspects......

There's a decent Chinese in Corstorphine, opposite American golf near the mini roundabout, Manor House or something it's called. Had a few sit downs in there, still nothing compared to a good Thai though.

I don't even touch Chinese takeaways, utterly horrendous now. The only half decent one in the town was the Flaming Wok next to the brig, but that closed and there's none left that are any good. Just generic tasteless guff.

Not sure if Manor House is the same anymore. Word was the family that owned it split so the other half moved to the Chinese opposite the zoo. It gets great reviews so not sure whether they took staff from Manor House too. Both are in quite odd locations.
