scottyboy
I do. Remarkable man from Bolton (they don't make em like at anymore) Steeplejack extraordinaire, steam engine enthusiast. Built his maws first chimney at 16, that no one else would sweep, apart from himself. Became a TV 📺 personality in his own right, with his own working class style. Married 3 times, he spotted his first wife from 80 metres up a chimney. Who thought up health and safety in those days? Got an MBE off Liz, who asked him if he was still climbing chimneys? Erected a statue in his honour in his home town of Bolton. What a man. Nearly got killed a few times when he got it wrong, as in the video below.

And to think he put the ladders up and took them down, plus the scaffold too. Hammer, rope, string, nail bag, and bits of wood. Sometimes he had time for a cheese piece and a couple of pints.

Apparently one of the Krays admired his TV work.

Think Ronnie made him an offer he couldn't refuse. £50 to buy a cup of tea at Parkhurst Prison. They should have been robbers instead of gangsters 😂
