Blast from the past

I think David Graham played well and scored when we got pumped by Hibs in Scottish Cup, Ian Ferguson at sweeper was an awful decision.

Less said about Mole the better.

Last two I wrote about were much better players though, Derek Fleming who was one of my favourites in the Bert Paton era and John Fraser who I thought did a decent job in the middle.

Just started on my next set of players to write about.

Eddie and Stuart Gallagher

The aforementioned David Graham.

Eddie Gallagher I don't remember much about except he was usually on the bench, Stuart Gallagher was probably one of our unluckiest players ever, banging them in for reserves then gets his chance at Celtic Park at 19.

Does his cruciate after 4 minutes and his whole career was over.

David Graham was a far better player than he showed us...

You see him at East End most weeks, and in Charlie D's. If you didn't know him you'd never recognise him as he's a big lad now.

How about Eric Ferguson? Scored a few goals for us, one against Celtic IIRC? He then married Karen Grega, the Marketing Manager at the time who ran the Pars Lottery etc and they moved back to Australia. I'm sure he played over there too.

Derek Fleming was imo, one of our best left-backs in recent times.

David Graham clearly had talent, but seemed to have a questionable attitude.

Don't remember much about Eric Ferguson, other than his goal v CeltIc and his celebration after it.

Good fun reminiscing about these players though!
