Superally
With no game and subsequently no Charlie D's the Dunfermline Beer Festival looks like the most appealing option this weekend. Harviston and Stewart Brewing will be the main contributors but I'm sure there will be other options to taste. Anyone from EEB heading along? Digs
Wasn't impressed tbh. First of all, plastic tumblers. Nope, this isn't an all inclusive holiday in Benidorm. Secondly, I got there 30 mins after the Saturday night doors opened, and the first 5 beers I asked for were unavailable. It happened every time I went up, and every one of them tried to get me to drink an IPA. I drink them all the time, if I wanted an IPA, I'd have asked for an IPA. This is the third time I've been, but not in a hurry to go back.
Superally
Have to agree, the amount and variety of beers were considerably less than pervious years. Even on the Friday there was no Deuchars despite it being in the catalogue.
DougieDave
I was hoping to go Saturday afternoon but now glad I didn’t bother - plastic glasses - Yuch 😢
Raymie
Been there once and they ran out of ales and were selling warm, bottled beers - no, thanks

There was a story they were going down to ASDA and filling trollies!
Piracy
Sounds poor. It's always a thing I fancied getting along to but never quite made it, glad I didn't and haven't. Missed opportunity for the organisers: isn't there a facility for feedback?

Don't think so, it's a charity event so don't think they're that ***ed as long as they get the money.
