Looks like the club are appealing to people that might help if needed depending on the location and amount of any snowfall tonight.

"At present the pitch at East End Park is slightly frosty, but playable. The increase in temperature on Friday morning has now lifted most of the frost from the pitch.

The forecasted temperature overnight is to remain above freezing, so our ground staff do not envisage any problems. However, the only uncertainty might be the snow which is forecasted for Saturday, the exact location and extent of which is not clear.

Saturday's match is obviously a very important one for our club and is likely to attract a large crowd, so we would like to make an early appeal to supporters for any assistance they can provide in the morning, if required, to clear snow from the pitch and any pavements surrounding the stadium.

An update will be provided tomorrow morning at 9am.

Supporters are politely requested to bring their own shovels, and not to bring anything other than snow shovels.

Your cooperation and help would be greatly appreciated.
