Deutsch Par
Not The Pars but PSG. 24 points clear of second place and only need 10 points to clinch the title.I thought Ligue Un was supposed to be one of the top leagues in the world... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35623002?ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_match_of_the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport
mcfc-par
A top league for boredom maybe, I've never lasted 90 minutes when tuning in to one of their games.
Paradox
I hope Ibrahimovich cones to the EPL next season.I think he has the right kind of presence and physicality to do for a club what Cantona did for United.
Teuchter
Even before PSG's current domination, I think even the French themselves were realistic enough to realise that Ligue 1 was behind their German, Spanish, Italian and English counterparts. The television coverage of English football exceeds that of their domestic league. Despite this, there were a few saving graces. One was the existence of competition. The last twenty years has seen 10 different teams win the title. There have been periods of dominance by one team in the past, but I think the money no object nature of PSG's ascendency is more akin to what Rangers did in Scotland under Murray, and may prove to have a similar ruinous effect.Another saving grace was that there were, and still is, a steady stream of top class players playing in the league. They of course move on, but there was always a reasonable quality of football on show.A good example combining the two elements mentioned is Lille in 2011. They won the double with the aid of a certain Mr Hazard.Despite the shortcomings of Ligue 1, the French seem to be doing something right in nurturing home grown talent, when compared to their counterparts across the Channel. It will be interesting to see if what PSG are doing p, in killing competition in Ligue 1, will have a stifling effect on wider elements of the games well being in the country - like, arguably, Rangers and Celtic have had in Scotland. The Coach
They signed Steven Fletcher, times must be tough...I think Lyon will be the nearest challenger over the next few years.
Teuchter
Marseille are having a grim season. Monaco aren't too far away from PSG financially but on the pitch they are falling short.Things might start to even out when Ibrahimovic leaves PSG - assuming that they don't sign an equally talismanic player. There are not many players on the planet who could fill his boots. In spite of Ibra's presence, it is Ben Arfra who has supplied the goal of the season so far. Almost as good as Barry Nicolson at Pittodrie:

Keyser Soze
Ibra is just an incredible player. One of the all time greats. He would absolutely ragdoll almost any defence on the planet. A phenomenal talent.
