He isn't a prolific scorer , what we need is a guaranteed 15 goals a season striker and he most certainly aint it. If we sign him we will continue to struggle to score goals.

I guess it also depends on wheteher there is any reaction to-day /tomorrow having played for 75mins

For a big lad McCann doesn't win much in the air and he certainly doesnt attack the ball in the air, his jumping/timing is also badly off. Just watch him closely. Needs a lot of work/coaching in those areas.

According to BBC we had 12 corners to their 2 or 3. I reckon three failed to get above waist height and beat first man , a couple were gathered by the keeper and defenders won the first header the rest of them. We posed very little threat , really frustrating and why , when McCann is our tallest player was he taking a few of the corners.

Dont agree we deserved a draw. Raith completely merited the win. They achieved in two passes what it took us 6 to do. We played too mainy aimless punts upfield, we lacked width creativity and pace. Too many players were simply not at it . I would only give pass marks to Edwards. OHalloran was really disappointing. We really do need a bit of pace in the side we were so laboured in possession and looked devoid of ideas to breakdown the 11 men which Rovers often had behind the ball. Dont get me started on our corners- we didnt win a header in their box the whole game-lets try and be a bit creative. At least plenty on the bench to change things-no.

Been up since 6.45 caught train at 8.30 just about at Berwick- looking forward to seeing the team again.

I would say we need two forwards ( neither of ours are prolific scorers) and at least one other central defender/full back who is capable of playig both positions. Very disappointed we havent done more business.

None of Hearts subs look up to much

I think Paok have been the better side for most of the game.Hearts look a bit laboured in possession whereas Paok move the ball very quickly

We could really do with some good news on the signings front,season hasn't even begun and I feel it could be a long long battle. We rarely scored more than two goals in a game last season, building our success on a very mean defence. We start this season without our two most creative players ( and Todd weighed in with 11 goals) and two fewer forwards to choose from. So I reckon we will score fewer goals and concede more which all adds up to a bottom of the table fight. Hope I am wrong.

Can see us losing this and then you look at next two fixtures and wonder if we will have any points after first three matches. Really disappointed in lack of new faces and with our two best creative attacking talents out for possibly months I am more than a little concerned.

Tod did ok one cheeky lob shot in first half and he brought out a very good save from the keeper in the second. He was unlucky not to score. Thought Otoo , Edwards and Chalmers all played well. But we were poor in final third McCann and Wighton dear oh dear we desperately need alternatives or its going to be a very long season.

And with Bene going off with what looked like a groin strain that’s 3 out of 3

Problem is our forwards dont look like scoring and dont link up well together .We dont seem to win any high balls in the attacking box

we really dont look like scoring , our play in the final third is so laboured as everyone looks to lay the ball off rather than take responsibility although it was nice interplay involving Ottu near the end

So that’s 2 out of 3 of our key players ( imo) out for the first few months- ****. And with a bench of under 16s.

We cant start the league campaign with that bench , that gives me the shivers. Can only see a Killie victory today 3-1.

I was on the stadium tour at Old Trafford with my 12 year old nephew - a new man u top for him in the club shop was £108 . It was pre printed / named and numbered . It will probably fit him for less than a couple of seasons
