  1. gosh ,was standing in the NW that day close to where Smith hit that "shot" from. What a game and atmosphere. That was some Rangers team we beat that day, littered with internationalists. Was that the game when Terry Butcher ripped one of the dressing room doors off its hinges or something similar ( allegedlly).
  2. Back on topic, I read someone explaining that these were accumulated losses over the years since we bcame a Ltd company. Back when we were in Administration I am sure our debt was running at £12million which I thought was written off by the Creditors. So have these losses arisen since we came out of Administration or am I confusing "debt" with "loss" -which I suspect I am.
  3. Bolton Wanderers new stadium sponsors ! Try saying it without laughing.
  4. I thought the midfield selection was “bold” and would have had Mahon, Hosier and Mochrie off at half time. McPake waited too long to make subs. Could pick a MoM as so many weren’t at the races
  5. Ah maybe, I wasn’t 100% certain ! I saw a bit of Dundee Utd in the 80s particularly their European games and recall that he was an excellent keeper , very sad .
  6. Wasn’t he our keeping coach for a while in late 90s ?
  7. I f Falkirk hold on I think thats 6 wins on the bounce.
  8. We are obviously not looking to change our pedestrian style of play, I am not sure how much excitement I can take.
  9. Absolutely no point in having three forwards on if there is no one to create and set up chances. Midfield has been crying out for pace and creativity the entire season.
  10. This is painful listening on commentary -almost 2-0 there
  11. That second half was dreadful although a well taken goal by Wighton and neat set up by Tod. That was our strongest team yet in the second half Dundee were streets ahead. I agree that particularly McCann and Mac Donald looked really tired and Edwards was way off the boil. Positives : Breen played well and so did Sam Young. We are really short of options in defence and midfield.
  12. Ah yes Fraser Murray - thanks. Squads change so quickly these days its hard to keep up!
  13. who is that beside O'Hara in the picture ?
  14. It was a cracking goal , shows what you can do when you attack at pace.
  15. That dreadful team has scored 50% more goals than we have !
  16. We started well and really should have been at least 2 goals up after 5 mins but after that it was a more even affair. Macdonald played well in first half and set up the goal for Wighton who apart from scoring really did very little. We had a couple of chances to extend the lead before half time but nothing came of them. Second half - good grief we were awful - we couldnt pass - worst offenders were Hamilton Chalmers and McCann. Todd constantly got into good positions wide on the left and then proceeded to deliver crosses yards behind our forwards really really poor combinations between him McCann and Wighton. I was really annoyed that we let Edinburgh string 10-15 passes together without getting near them. Not pretty to watch and zero entertainment. If I was to name a MoM it would have to be MacDonald or Edwards but overall not a good watch.
  17. Going by the photo I think that looks quite smart and it doesnt even look like it's the name of our ground ! KDM Group and East End Park are on two sepearte lines, the "font sizes" are completely different and the "font" styles are different. The uninitiated would read that as a sponsor name and then the ground name. It doesn't grate with me in the least.
  18. Took us 93 mins to win our first corner , we get worse with each game we play, can actually see Peterhead winning on Saturday.
  19. 70 mins and we haven't won a single corner , points to our lack of possession and creativity and pressure in final third.
  20. Is it only me who thinks we are a complete shambles ?
  21. Dreadful performance, again. Which side are top of the league - impossible to tell. We are so slow in build up - ball speed in passing is about 4 mph. No width , we dont have a single player capable of taking a man on and beating him. We were holding on the last 5 mins - Clyde looked much likelier to grab a winner. Pass marks to Bene and Richie- Hosier. But dear oh dear Chalmers, Mochrie, Fisher , Edwards Wighton Todorov Macdonald and Mahon all contributed zilch.
  22. I think he booked Hamilton after three minutes , I wasnt surprised because it merited a booking.
  23. Two weeks running? He was actually OK ( for a Tory) at Montrose I thought.
