If Todd is out for any length of time we will struggle for creativity and pace. This performance tonight is pedestrian and I am concerned that Wighton and McCann show no signs of working as a partnership.

£12 to watch on Pars TV seems a little steep for a friendly? Was happy to pay £7.50 to watch St Johnstone and would happily pay a tenner to watch us against Jambos but £12, might relent by by Sunday but currently not minded to pay that.

I agree that there were a good number of crosses into the box and there was invariably no one on the end of them, but we wont play three at the back with Edwards and Comrie as wide men every week. With a more traditional flat back four I think we will struggle for width.

Without KRH it shows we need width and we will struggle to score goals. We were hardly prolific scorers last season and we can't rely on our defence being as solid given the step up. Need another two strikers on the books sharpish.

I could watch McCann's strike all morning. I still let out a "wow" and must have watched it 10 times aready. Clyde's opener was not to shabby either.

When I caught sight of the players in the tunnel wearing the Champions T shirts reminiscent of 95/96 I could picture my Dad in his , he would have loved yesterday and I had to wipe away a few tears.

Think I would take the draw right now. Having failed to score against two junior sides in the last two home games I am not convinced of our ability to create real goal scoring opportunities.

I agree about the first goal , a textbook header should have been downwards and to keepers left and it was virtually straight at him and he almost saved it whereas he shouldnt have left the keeper with any chance of stopping it. Still, mustn't grumble!

I you look at the photos after a goal on the Club twitter feed you can see the pure delight on Hosler’s face - obviously means a lot to him.His goal saving intervention was superb, I absolutely thought the Falkirk guy was going to score.

Didn’t we score 97 goals that season , I remember being at games where we beat Brechin(?) 8-0 and someone 7-2( Clyde maybe) and were regularly winning games by 4 or 5 goals. A great young side which would also have included Kenny Thopmson and maybe Alun Evans?

He is a player I have long admired at Dundee, certainly a standout anytime I have seen them.However he hasn't featured in a Dundee squad for last three+ months due to injury so fingers crossed it works out for us.
