  1. Storming idea, Happy to pitch in with £20 from me
  2. Regardless of the result we should be taking them and consolidating our position
  3. Toderov on for Todd, I'll take the replay
  4. We have drawn the Ukraine in the play off qualifier at Hampden, Hopefully a decent chance to progress
  5. Good to hear that Yogi on cows has a full squad including Breen to choose from for tomorrows game. There is a real positive vibe coming out of the club now - lets hope that continues after Friday night. COYP
  6. We had a healthy amount of good Dutch players during the Calderwood era. Its sad to hear of the current reports regarding Jimmy and we wish him well.
  7. I suppose you have to look at ICT last season who were cut adrift at the bottom before a great run of form - they just missed out on the play off place
  8. It’s the cup weekend so no Championship League matches, however Saturdays opponents remain depressingly familiar as the faithful head along the M8 on Friday night in search of thrills at Firhill. In some regard the form book for both sides remains relevant with Partick being undefeated in their past 5 games with 2 draws and their last 3 games have been wins. The Pars have benefited from a new manager bounce with two wins for Yogi and a draw with 2 losses in the PG era. It seems like its honors even thus far with a 4-2 Premier Sports cup Pars win at Firhill earlier this season, followed by a 3-0 humping at EEP. The last time the sides met it was a 0-0 draw. Partick are sitting 4th in the championship with 27pts 14 more than the Pars in 6th. Many Pars fans will be hoping after a very comfortable win against Ayr Utd that the bounce will continue. The team to appear to be resurgent and playing with a degree of confidence. However, this will be a significant test. The game should be close, but I think the Pars can take home a 2-1 win. COYP
  9. Cheers TRBFC I'll get on the case later and let folk know of the response
  10. I saw a Policeman stopping cars coming out of that car park a few weeks ago GG, Yet strangely they were allowing cars to go up and down Halbeath Road so why stop them coming out of the car park?
  11. We would have to have an exceptional rest of the season to get close now. I would be happy to be the best of the rest, but im not getting ahead of ourselves - two wins does not make a season and we just have to concentrate on winning the next game
  12. I was a bit dismayed walking out on to Halbeath Rd at FT to discover that the Police had not stopped the traffic I nearly saw one individual being hit by a car. At a recent home game traffic again was not stopped yet a cop was stopping traffic from coming out of the carpark at Aldi's - Why? I cant understand why they would do it one week and then not so the next especially during the winter months when its dark - its a clear safety issue. Someone is going to get badly hurt.
  13. Good to see us playing with some confidence at last, I'll admit that when I saw the line up I wasn't sure but McCann proved me and I bet a few others wrong. in a goal starved season he was MoM for me. There were a few good other performances too, Thomas was well up for it and Dorran's was in control throughout. Hopefully Onwards and Upwards from now on
  14. I remember that well, Made a few quid, Alex gave us a free pint and gave us a £10 for the sponsorship
  15. Legendary Par, Legendary Coaledge.
  16. I'm quite supportive of all the Fife teams. Its interesting to see the journey of Kelty, but have never traveled up the M90 to see them. There is a tenuous Pars connection with former players and I wish them well but no more than the other Fife teams. COYP
  17. It's very worthwhile and a great initiative that EEB welcomes
  18. Middle of the Norrie for me, half way up behind the goals
  19. Working sadly, would have liked to be there, I'll follow Buffy's updates
  20. Remember it well at the time and Digs nailed it - ethical cheating, but it caused a fair sandal at the time
  21. Our season started last week with a new manager and 3pts from the first away game in over a year. And a 3pt home win brings the distinct possibility of climbing from the bottom to 6th. The thought is incredible that it’s taken 15weeks to record our first win and we can look ahead with a degree of confidence against Ayr Utd of taking a second win on the trot. Such a convincing belief is not unfounded. The Honest Men were humped 0-4 in their own patch last weekend to Partick, where the Pars after a miserable opening stint pulled back from a goal down against title challengers ICT. Ayr's form guide over the past 5 games indicates no wins and only two draws losing their last 3games. It is the worst in the league atm. The Pars who were worst last week, have two draws and a win giving them 5pts. Not the worst but now equaling 7th in the form guide. However we should be cautious as Ayr humped us at Somerset on our last outing 3-1 with Toderov scoring our single goal. I’m optimistic that The Pars form will continue and I’ll settle for a 2-1 Pars win. COYP
