  1. Thanks to both of you for taking time out your night to attend and provide an in depth overview from the night. Well done to the club for facing up to pertinent questions that many fans have been asking over the last couple weeks. Sounds like our owners are happy to pay for our huge shortfalls, which is the biggest concern to me right now. Not sure why they haven't cashed in their loan to take ownership yet though? Happy to cover millions of pounds of loses but still not the owners? I'm not on board with this part I question how much value we will get out of local youth. It costs a fair bit to maintain and the top Fife talent can still be picked up by the bigger clubs around Scotland. Not many top players have been produced by Fife Elite over the years. If we unleash a gem then great but we won't maximise our fees by playing Scottish Championship football or lower. I would rather invest in the first team at the start of the season and gain money from the prize money of finishing higher in the league. More realistic than our chances of churning out sellable assets from the academy every year. I'm really not that bothered about youth players. It's a nice to have but not if it's effecting first team performance. In terms of our biggest problem on the pitch (not scoring goals) they seem to be lost. Too much training, calming down training. Surely a clear indication that we need new strikers next season if we stay up. Still stuck with Deniz, Chalmers, O'Halloran, Wighton, Breen and Comrie next year. All been poor this season. Really bad contract extentions last summer on players that failed in the league previously including O'Halloran who was relegated last year. Negative post I know but just how I feel about this season. Much respect for you to guys providing the feedback from the meeting. I'm just not convinced by our owners or football management team in all honesty.
  2. Any word from the fan group meeting tonight?
  3. Need to cut our loses on Mehmet. Admit the mistake of a 3 year deal and move on. Same with the poor choices we've signed as strikers. Wighton, McCann, Jak couldn't hit a coo on the arse with a banjo. Terrible choices. Again some of them on long contracts. McPake has had a nightmare since gaining promotion. Another one on a 3 years deal. Another bad decision.
  4. Two biggest problems right there. Teams are playing us in the same way McPake played McGlynn last season. Where that McPake has gone? I do not know.
  5. Think we are very similar to Hughes team two years ago. I would say we have much better young prospects than that team but in terms of game plan. It's very similar.
  6. Back to Dunfermline 0 again. The lack of goals has been the biggest problem since McPake came to the club.
  7. Why bull**** people about fatigue.
  8. Mullen at Morton, Gaston at Arbroath, Ridgers at ICT and Ferrie at Queens Park have looked more assured. Would take any of them before Deniz.
  9. No. He's worse than most goalkeepers I've seen in this league. So not all in all then.
  10. The amount of times he does the coming out then going back and generally just unsure what to do when a cross comes in just creates chaos. He has the most fragile confidence( i'm sure fans will get get blamed for this later) but he's awful. A truely awful goalkeeper.
  11. My issue is not tonight. I think he's a crap goalkeeper.
  12. So poor up front. Kane is just too important to lose. Jak is just not a striker. He's a wide wide player that should be taking McCann out the team. McCann, Mehmet, MOH are utter keech. All of them signed up for the forseeable future tae. Really bad signings. Summers needs shipped back to Celtic. Still think we have enough to stay up though. I like the new right back and Walcott. Todd will get better in time. Bene maybe back on Saturday to replace Hamilton. Teams are lumping high balls at us with wee Hamilton and that mess of a goalkeeper at the back.
  13. He scored a double against Ayr did he not? He's not a striker IMO. More a wide player. Losing Kane yet again is a massive blow.
  14. Think we now have enough quality in important areas. Todd linking midfield to attack, Kane holding up the ball from attack too bring other in. Those two new dimensions completely change us. Going for 2-0 Pars.
  15. I would take 4 points out the next two games. Need to play with a bit more bravery and have ago at home to Ayr and Airdrie. Get the crowd behind us from the start. It's too ponderous most the time at home.
  16. Not sure about it being easy for Ayr. We're looking a lot more solid now at least. Think we might get a point but a win will be unlikely with McPake's cautious approach to games.
  17. It's not. They have a terrible home record.
  18. Inverness were not worse in the second half DA-go They were rubbish throughout but we made it easier for them second half. McPake made us worse second half with his three at the back from a steady four. He can't help himself reverting to it. We are weaker going forward every time we play three at the back.
  19. Another look at me being positive post for the sake of it.
  20. Think we were better with four at the back in the first half. Our manager is just obsessed with 3 at the back though. Made us worse second half with no reason to change it. Poor performance yet again from McPake this season.
  21. Hopefully just a dose of the ****s. Will be pretty annoyed if it another 6 week out muscle injury.
  22. How much did we need a weekend like this. Long overdue fantastic weekend. Got to go for 3 points on Tuesday. Great chance to go well clear of ICT. Matty Todd, Jak and Kane up top is a game changer. We now have a genuine goal threat. That alligned with the new formation has me feeling much better about stay clear of 9th.
  23. Saw some photos on Facebook. Seemed like a good night had by all.
  24. The Jak is a wide player and not a striker. Much better in wide areas.
  25. Spot on mate. Otoo and Todd winning midfield changed us. It made Paul Allan better too.
