I would say that Hughes was doing better than the crap McPake is giving us right now. I remember beating Partick 4-1 and Ayr 2-1 at home with Hughes. McPake has had the bottom two at home the last two games and come up with a point againt part time rubbish.

Our current form is the same as Peter Grant before he was sacked. Total shambles yet again. Met the commercial manager today and he seemed like the most disengaged employee you could have. In hospitality and he was a total atmosphere killer. Sour faced bore.

McPake clearly can't change this. 9 games with no win. 1 goal for and 9 against in 3 home games. 1 point gained in three home games, 9 up for grabs. Two of those teams were bottom and second bottom. Who the hell are we going to beat if we can't beat those teams? The Board and injuries excuse can only go so far. Today had Otoo and Hamilton in midfield, largely seen as the solution. MFW at the back with Hamilton. MFW was McPake's singing. Benjamin utter garbage. McPake signing. Holmes did nothing, McPake signing. I have held back my concerns on this manager for a while now. Not now. Time is up.

Was there not a finance director that left in October? Maybe his replacement.

Masterton told us for years that debts were covered by soft loans and the whole thing imploded eventually. Concerned about what our owners are doing with us to be honest.

Covid was the excuse initially but they've barely been seen since everything opened up. They did say that some folk play golf in retirement but have chosen to run a football club. A pet project and that's exactly what they're giving us. A half ***ed project with half ***ed ideas about youth being the way forward. No understanding of who's going to mentor the youth or the need to maintain a successful first team whilst their pet project of building an academy seems more out of place than ever. Ram your academy guys, you are taking us into yet another relegation battle to the 3rd tier of Scottish football. They have been nothing other than a disaster since the took ownership of our club.

This clueless obsession with signing only young players is killing us. That comes from the owners trying to make a profit on every signing they sanction. The lack of experience is ruining the young players. They are left hung out to dry. The owners just continually make crap decisions.

Our problems go further than McPake.

Think it could be a bit of ding dong battle today. Really interesting match up. Think we are looking a good bit stronger than recent months. It will be good to see a few new faces and it might bring a decent crowd out. The point at Tannadice might give our boys a wee leg up for today and I'm going for a 2-1 Pars. Late winner.

Reading the Southport forum there and their fans seem to think he can play levels above where they are and he is only 21. Looking forward to see how he does. Josh McPake can be signed outside the window being a free agent, so no rush with that one. Maybe a defender in tomorrow and that will do me. It should tie us over till injuries start returning.

We need players now, not end of February. We've got 6-7 players coming back thoughout February. A month where we have a load of home games against teams around us.

When I think of the last few managers we have had, I will gladly stick with what we have right now. We're a work in progress in term of championship football. We have a fairly solid defensive set-up when we have our first choice players. Attack needs worked on. Think the shape is wrong. Don't know if Todd making deep runs again might help this but our main striker always seems to be too isolated. Two of our three strikers a very poor finishers too.

The owners are fitting the construction bill for this Rosyth project? I know lifeline now goes to running costs and the Nisbet money has been used for cashflow.
