  1. If you go to our episode with Greg Shields (ep. 3) you'll hear all about it 😀
  2. Yup, there's not much logic behind me except gut feeling.
  3. Bit afraid we might lose this. Think Kelty might have finally found their feet. Hope I'm wrong.
  4. I remember that, the wind game. Gerry Britton nearly won us the game 4-3. Pretty sure Falkirk played Partick same day with a similar result. The Dumbarton game is painful to think about even now, but we'll get it at some point.
  5. Good reminder, been trying to schedule someone for that for a while. Thank you, will get back later see if we can cover that soon.
  6. Hope you enjoy it. If there are any games anyone would like covered I'll do my best to find a suitable guest!
  7. Episode 5 of EastEndTales is out now and it's a better. We've got Andy Smith on to talk about his time at the Pars and a focus on the title winning game in 1996. If you love 90s Dunfermline, this is the perfect listen. We're on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music etc but here is also the direct link: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1972630/11899392
  8. It was a great World Cup on the pitch despite it being in Qatar, not because of it.
  9. Top at Christmas. League title in the bag.
  10. Harsh, he's a decent looking lad.
  11. Normally Arbroath away is a fun day out, was fun watching it online yesterday
  12. First half was bloody brilliant. Second half tailed off but that's fine. Some great performances and a huge confidence boost after the disappointment against Queens. Wighton is just too good at times, the lad is a baller. Chalmers was everywhere and driving us forward, Todd provided a good attacking threat and we were hardly troubled at the back. Good work diddy cup or not
  13. I'm sorry you feel that way. Genuinely as I've always enjoyed our chats over the years with regards to the Pars. We'll just have to disagree on this I'm afraid.
  14. I'm actually proud of the club coming up with this idea and it's implementation. The only better way would be a Hamburg scenario where some rich benefactor stumping up cash to beat any offer and keep the stadium sponsor free. I still don't think it matters and like I said, it's a good idea that's implemented, EEP is kept in the official name and we get a pay day.
  15. If we do go up, we should be looking at the promotion play offs without a doubt. We were in them under AJ and Craw, no reason why we can't progress to that as a minimum. There's no team in the championship that shouldn't be well above our level.
  16. I'd be happy to see a strong starting line up and try keep the momentum going with winning away from home.
  17. And we're much more organised, that can't be underestimated
  18. Wasn't sure I saw that clearly on ParsTV but that **** needs stamped out pronto. Absolutely no need.
  19. Comrie has clearly been told to focus more on the defensive side. That changed when we went behind. We simply need more bodies available for the ball in forward areas. Queens seemed to be able to be easily capable of reaching our box and pinging a shot at goal while we laboured until around the hour mark and even then, not rough for my liking. We seemed to have fallen back into this ponderous set up play that plagued us last season and when it's 3511, it can be ****e to watch. Perhaps a winger or two in January could help us with that and go 442.
  20. Hopefully we go unchanged and the young lad has recovered from that knock. He's got a spark to his game that we could do with and along with Mochrie, can get forward to support Wighton more.
  21. Canada looking handy against Belgium and missed a penalty. Can also hear Colin Miller's thoughts on the team in our latest podcast.
  22. Is Dave Mackay our version of Austin McPhee for Scotland? Also I find it interesting to look back at games with the old floodlights and compare just how much darker it was until these were first installed around 1997? The phrase "night and day" comes to mind.
