I also can't help but feel finances are a huge part of this. Our income will be significantly down this season in terms of away crowds, prize money and sponsorship (stadium rights included?). Falkirk will be the only team bringing anything meaningful whilst Edinburgh and Peterhead will be double digits possibly. I hate this thinking but we could do with a good cup run and a decent away game with a chance of a big crowd, just to help the coffers. Beating Celtic away live on TV for example.

His guests last weekend were all going back on the train with Pars scarves on, for what it's worth.

There'll already be a silence at some point, I'm dead against sport doing this unless it's one of their own. People should be given a choice if they want to but not when they're off to a match.

Hopefully that sort of recognition shows younger players at a higher level can still come to us and find themselves playing internationally. No idea if that's the reality of it though.

Why football should be cancelled I cannot fathom. Why is it disrespectful for people to get on with their lives? Quite frankly, nothing stopped when members of my family or anyone else on here (assuming this board is royal free) and rightly so. Let those who want to mourn. Let those who it has not affected get on with it. That's not the same as being disrespectful.
