  1. Yup. His career stats would make you greet. The most Dunfermline way to end a season, relegated, and beat 1-0 In a cup final by a goal scored by a right back with less than 150 total career professional appearances and the only goal of their life, sclaffed in off their studs … ugh.
  2. I’m happy to let the club start new initiatives to get the place busy. I have no doubt that this is just the start of David Cooks plan to get us moving, and I have also no doubt that in due course there will be changes to the season ticket packages, and rewards for the loyal buyers. Just look at his track record at Forest. Seems churlish to be having a whinge right now when it’s clear the club are about to start doing some different things all to improve the matchday experience. In fact I’ll go one further. See if they made every home game now to end of season a fiver to get the place to 7000+ as a target, I’m all for it, as season ticket holder . Every advantage possible for us to stay in this league for now, and avoid a calamitous relegation. Plus if they’re looking at getting 5000 walk ups at a fiver, damn sight better than 1000 at an average of £15.
  3. GG, Straw clutching !? how dare you! I’m using pure logic 😂
  4. Have a weird feeling we will win. It’s my birthday on Saturday and I’m sure I have a pretty good record of the Pars winning on my birthday…. 🙈
  5. Was Yogi in charge of Raith when they had to play Ryan Stevenson in goal away at Ayr….?
  6. Coming thru from Glasgow for this, how’s the weather lookin thru there the now? Game at risk? Light dusting of snow here but nothing else currently
  7. Respect Ambition Inclusion Teamwork Honesty Seriously that’s what they’ve gone for in that video. 😂🙈
  8. Wouldn’t say the increased bookings was a mark of anything other than some gross stupidity from either the players or referee Craig Napier who yet again had a stinker.
  9. Quite annoyed about the way we lost that to be honest, against what has to be one of the worst Kilmarnock teams I have ever seen. They were shockingly bad. On the other hand, we decided to hamstring ourselves with the back 4 change and lack of subs. Frustrating and a real setback.
  10. As I said elsewhere, “McGlynn will forever now be remembered as the manager that tried to sign Goodwillie. I lost all respect for him, and I really rated him as a manager. Shame.” The apology is flat for me. They knew fine well what they were doing and knew the backlash, and decided to go ahead. They’re not sorry about the action, they’re sorry that it caused such a ruckus. “We’re not bad people”. Well…maybe not, but people with very questionable morals and behaviours is a definite. I just cannot understand what they were thinking.
  11. Good luck to David, this hopefully gives Ross some comfort the club in good hands so he can get a proper break.
  12. This is where my blind optimism comes thru. I can see us getting 8 points out of those 4 games.
  13. McGlynn will forever now be remembered as the manager that tried to sign Goodwillie. I lost all respect for him, and I really rated him as a manager. Shame.
  14. McCann is the best striker for the system that Yogi is playing. I really like him as a player, so much more to come from him.
  15. Oaft there optimism. But if we can just keep on winning games - this league is so cut throat, some teams above us will have absolute stinkers with form. I think Partick thistle will start to struggle over the next few weeks as well as Raith so we may well see some closing of the gap between top 4 and the rest. Whether it will be enough for us to Catch them, is another thing. First things first, win tomorrow.
  16. Murdoch for me was the best in recent times. Probably best since admin?
  17. And I understand that. I get both sides completely. I just think I’m on the side that I would rather my team had every chance to thump them (and him), and that needs a strong visiting support to cheer to victory.
  18. Nah. We go there in full volume, fill their stand and let them and him know exactly what we think of them, and cheer our boys onto a famous victory.
  19. I’ve still not forgiven you for writing on the forum as a suggested song “back to life, Bakhtaoui reality” when we signed Faissal in 2012. You ruined my favourite soul 2 soul hit for me. Can’t hear it now without that “lyric” entering my brain. please stop. 😂 😉
  20. 7mins 30 seconds in. Watch Dorrans touches. If that’s the Dorrans we get from now to end of season - what a player.
  21. I hope he continues with his plan to step back. It’s clear he needs a break and let’s be fair, he’s done it for 6 years through some of the most horrendous stress and pressure. It’s best for both parties that the plan that’s been communicated is executed and he can get back to being a fan and his family can enjoy his company again. I really hope we can avoid the drop this season and finish on a bit of a high so that his contribution can be recognised.
  22. Back on topic to the game. Oh what a difference that was. Not a failure among them today. We fought, battled, bit, scratched, gouged when we had to, but the big thing for me wa the obvious “streetwise” strategy Yogi has spoken about coming to the fore. Time wasting with the ball being kicked away at the right time or smacking balls off advertising hoardings to stop multiball. Well done Pybus and Dorrans, Pybus just in front of the back 4 and doing a sterling job. Dorrans played further forward had his best game for us. Chalmers made a massive difference today too, though tired a lot in second half. Back 4 solid, we were just so in control. Dow best game for ages. Just a lovely performance start to finish. QOS utter dross but hard to tell how much of that down to how good we were.
