Any player moaning about a new signing coming in can’t complain, it’s up to you to step up and show you deserve to play ahead of them. Anyway if all the talk about people passing judgement on chalmers it’s pretty safe to say none of us have a clue about this one.

He was always going to get another club, players have done a lot worse. The manager doesn’t pay the wages, but they are who the players interact with. A player is far more likely to join or leave a club based on the manager than the club as a whole. Despite the cliched big team stuff we hear every time someone signs.

1 or 2 could be enough, but it would leave us reliant on our best players being available alot.

We are certainly in the **** and in it together. Supporting the club comes in different forms, asking questions, being sceptical at times and criticism is part of that. We all want what is best for the club, and being able to answer questions, alleviate scientism, take criticism positively and use that to improve will make us a better club.

Unfortunately Hugues historic record is poor, that brings less trust in his ability and more questions on his signings. I'll never understand a mindset that just because someone works for our club means they should be given trust. We've seen where that goes and it isn't pretty.

I don't believe hughes(or any manager) will bring in players they think aren't better that what they have. But they regularly do, they make bad calls and when they make too many bad calls they negatively affect the club they're employed by and the chances of them being continually employed by that club.

They haven’t won in over a month. Won 3 games by more than a goal all season. It’s not a surprise they didn’t feel confident they’d get a 2nd. Maybe they don’t win games by more due to sitting back. But if you look at there squad and especially the guys that played against us they aren’t a side set up to roll over the top of there opponents. Edging games out is more their style. I think given how sloppy we were first half for them to only create 1 chance shows that. I agree if they went 2-0 up we wouldn’t have equalised, no guarantees tho. You could argue if they were open for all the 2nd half we would have scored earlier and had more time for a winner. It was fairly end to end for the last 10 minutes but we created the better chances. Nobody will ever know what would have happened.

Don’t think Inverness did much different to anyone else with a lead, taking time where you can always happens. 2nd half ridgers began to push things but when 1 up your keeper is expected too. Ref was ****e, you can see why the SFA prefer to keep him a couple of leagues below . They also sent an experienced linesman to help him out but he ended up needing more help than he should have.

4-4-2 was horrendous against morton. Stick to the 4-3-3 from last week. But I do agree Breen getting Connolly’s spot to be the only change.

Taylor Sinclair stuck around for ages. I get the impression that yogi will let a player train as long as they look ok and are improving fitness etc even if he’s thinking they’ll end up being a last ditch choice if he can’t get anyone else in.

He was getting himself into that state with or without Dundee. Give someone the best fitness coach in the world and they'll still be unfit if they don't look after themselves away from the training ground.

So if midfield is not the problem, Are you blaming the strikers and wingers? Because I find it very hard to believe all these guys who for the most part had very successful seasons last year suddenly turned ****.

I think it’s more to do with him being rusty last week, he was mistiming headers etc.

That’s the rules in the cups. League it’s generally accepted that depending on timing you might play against sides after they’ve made signings when others didn’t have too.

I’m not inside the management or the players heads but I don’t think anyone could complain if they had been dropped after the Morton game

If we're playing 4-3-3 then o'hara would be one of the wider 2. It's either todorov or mccann for the central spot.

Ok. I had also forgotten about spence. Oops. Spence has done ok. But I’m still surprised at how him and Graham are so far apart in where they are playing. I’d have Graham as the better prospect and I’ve still not seen what spence is doing to keep getting the chances he does.

👏 congratulations to the board of DAFC, when you think your shambolic decision making can’t get worse here we are. Appoint the worse manager in our history. Let that manager build a squad of dreadful players, take the areas of the team that needed the most improvement and make them worse. Repeatedly back that manager despite his horrendous decisions that would clearly result in the club heading towards relegation. Eventually remove that manager but appoint someone who has a horrendous transfer record and last time at this level managed an embarrassment of a relegation. Allow that manager to lose some of our best players from our already week squad. Jesus suffering ****.

I genuinely have no recollection of a spencer playing for us. What period of time have I wiped from my memory?

Williamson like quite a few others wasn’t good enough. Bryne(and maybe Martin) is the only guy to come through our youth system in a decade plus that has made a career for himself and that only after he dropped down and livi helped improve him. I’d like a successful youth system but I think a fundamental question over the quality of youngsters coming through is if they are a better player than bryne.
