  1. After last Fridays brilliant away win against the Jags the Pars hit the road once more heading up the A9 on Tuesday to face “Big Duncs” Inverness. Although this will be another tough game the Pars can take a element of confidence from their last outing to improve their position. Inverness sit ninth in the table but just two pts below the Pars and they have the incentive of a home win will allow them move up the table ahead of the Pars. Equally the Pars know they can stretch a two point lead to a potential five pts and into a possible fifth place. The Pars Long term Injury list continues and with Jak and Todd’s return to the team a lot will depend on how they react from their last outing. MFW and Benji do appear to be slowly growing into the team and have provided a goal threat and Kane up front has given the pars some attacking options at last. I think this will be another tight game against a team while initially responded to a new manager bounce have recently struggled to maintain that momentum. Previous games ended up as 1-1 draws but its 2-1 away win and three valuable points for the Pars for me. COYP

  3. Remarkable considering no body predicted a near correct score for the Partick Pars game.

East End Bounce Prediction League 2023/24 Prediction League Week 25 Fixtures Fri 23rd Feb Partick Th 1 Dunfermline Ath 3 (37/3350) Sat 14th Feb Arbroath 1 Inverness CT 1 Ayr Utd 1 Raith Rovers 2 Dundee Utd 3 Queens Park 1 Morton 2 Airdrie 1 TOP 5 1. Richey Rutherford 29 Golden Goal (37m) Jack Winter, The Saline Hill Puma, Al K, Deutsch Par, Eric Spaven Crowd (3350) Andy Carp What a difference a game makes, and what a difference there has been in this weeks results. A truly remarkable result from Eric Spaven - 57pts the highest score this season and one of the highest scores ever on the Prediction League. Slightly supplemented by playing a winning Joker and earning a 5pt golden goal but an incredible score and well deserved podium place. Andy Carp won the crowd bonus and 4 others also earned a 5pt Golden goal bonus. There were some really good results across the board today but at the top Superally enjoys his 20th week at the top and increased his lead to 15 points from Ian Johnston in second place. SeaBass sits another 4pts behind in third. However easily the winner was Eric Spaven with that incredible score that showed what you can do with a timely Joker and a bonus 5pts. We have a full set of midweek games but in the meantime remember to check your scores and if there are any problems let me know and I’ll sort it out. 6. Hope everyone is enjoying their humble pie, I'm having an extra slice. COYP.
  7. Brilliant result, Brilliant and scoring 3 goals even better! Need to continue that going into next week
  8. The new lad sits on the bench. It will be a result if we have no more injuries please.
  9. It looks like its a long ball game, McCann out wide I think
  10. Real optimism @Raymie. A win is not shared by anyone on the prediction league 🤣
  11. Sad, sad news indeed. Not old enought to remember him playing but do remember his stint as Manager A sad day for the club and my condolences go to his family and friends. RIP
  12. Taking this with a large pinch of salt. I think it's more about Yogi trying to rewrite history and polishing his CV. That man is an utter charlatan, no wonder he hasn't had a job since.
  13. Just a wee shout to say The Pars are playing tomorrow night so dont miss out and get your predictions in. Good Luck & COYP
  14. Welcome to the club Wech-Hayes. I hope it works out well for both of us. However the hairs on the back of my neck are telling me is cover for another injury!
  15. Can only think they will appear from the bench but it will be great to see them back
  16. Undoubtedly Rovers are the better prospect atm its a team fighting at the top than fighting at the bottom.thats probably 2-3 players that Rovers have nicked from us thus far. I'm disappointed but can't blame Ashcroft. He was treated pretty **** in his last season at EEP. Officially we are the wee team now.

  18. The Pars will be heading to Firhill on Friday evening with the hope of a thrill, indeed I might even take a mild titillation. After two capitulating performances at least they managed to grab a single point from Arbroath, Ideally opportunities were there to perhaps take all three. Firhill is always a been a bit of a bogey ground for the Pars and our last visit we were dumped 3-0 and our last encounter at EEP we faired slightly better losing by a single goal 1-2 with Todd scoring the Pars goal in the dying minutes. There is a slight expectation that Todd may feature again for this fixture along with one other from the protracted injury list but in any case, I think these players will be nursed back and will only feature from the bench. As for the “fabled” loan signing - who knows. Partick are a strong third in the table and while not the best defensively they are joint top scorers. The Pars - well if we have a clean sheet we might have a chance but we will probably have to take out Brian Graham with a sniper shot from the stand. Still being away our form is slightly better, If we come away with point it will be well earned. COYP

However the top of the podium is shared with Chris Whitaker and Lencarp taking the top spot with the third lowest score this season, well done to them. Andrew 283 earned the 5pt crowd bonus and as the Pars scored a goal for the first time in 5 weeks there was a plethora of pundidts (6) earning a 5pt goal bonus too, Well done to them. Superally stretches out his massive lead of 1 point from Sea Bass in second and 2 pts from Ian Johnston in third. Still a lot to play for and when you add in Jokers – plenty of time for positions to change. Remember to check your scores and if there are any problems let me know and I’ll sort it out.
