  1. I hear that Ashcroft is not in the Dundee squad today. There is hope!
  2. Bench: Moffat Chalmers Allan Holmes, Sutherland Fenton Young Little
  3. Team news Mehmet Comrie Benjimin Fagan-Walcott Edwards O'Halloran Hamilton Otoo Summers McCann Kane
  4. There was a fair bit of chatter about Ashcroft signing on a loan deal today - which I think would be brilliant move if he came back to EEB. However I'm thinking we would have seen the signing gif by now. Bummer

  7. There is a game on tonight so don't miss out and get your predictions in early. COYP
  8. We do need a defender Ideally an experienced CH. Hopefully we can get one in. Happy with Kane signing, however we either need to change our formation to make the best of him or we need someone who can provide the service he needs

  10. I saw that, It seemed to quote a number of posts on this forum
  11. Not sure how I can even begin this preview given recent performances, especially the last two where we shipped eight goals without reply! Indeed, our last goal was 4 games ago scored by Summers ironically against Queens Park! The Pars decline continues with no wins in the last eight fixtures and we are second last in the form table. Our saving grace is that the Arbroath team we face on Saturday is the worst - but not by much. The horrendous injuries the Pars continue to suffer continues with nearly a first team sitting in the stand. McPake has indicated in his post-match comments the there is two signings incoming but most fans seem to have a feeling of too little too late. Arbroath don’t have their problems to seek and sit 6pts below the Pars in last place, they have not won in their last seven games. If the Pars could actually score a goal and take three points they could climb the table from 9th to 6th. However, it’s a massive ask at the moment and another defeat can’t be contemplated, I’m thinking a draw is the most likely, but its not the result that’s needed. COYP

  13. I'm beginning to agree with this, recruitment has been poor and trying to cover key positions has been scratching the bottom of the loans dustbin.
  14. Thought at HT we might grow a bit more into it, we were not great but at least we competed. Did we kick on in the second half - no it was the reverse. This team is in a relegation battle and make no mistake that the players on the pitch are not man enough for it. McPake needs to do more than just stand with his hands in his pockets.

  16. HT 0-0. Much, much better. Not great but at least we are competing and putting a foot in. Lacked confidence at the start but are growing into it. COYP
  17. Comrie Back but one of the new signings Fagan-Walcott is missing - presumed Injured!
  18. Just heard that Ben Richards Everton has been released from Gloucester due to their financial problems!
  19. I see that a Blue Card is now being touted where a player is binned for 10 mins following an offence such as dissent etc. I can see that going down a treat in VAR! Personally i can see it perhaps parts of it working but there is a danger it can cross over where a yellow should have been given. A similar thing happens in Rugby where I think it works well and where the card can be upgraded to a red. Not sure how it will work in Fitba though. Can you imagine a blue card being issued against a Celtic player! 🤣
  20. @the saline hill puma & @Eastendtales I'm beginning to have PTSD symptoms just because its mentioned! 🤣
  21. I remember the Celtic 8-1 scudding well @Eastendtales. I was more angry that Lennon scored!
  22. In truth i don't think the pitch will freeze, but with the recent rain and the state of the pitch from last weekend Im concerned it may be susceptible to flooding.
  23. Didn't get much of a run out, but his movement looked promising
  24. Manager preview says Wighton is out and due to see a specialist. The rest is a bit cryptic - "One back and two Out", so I guess its another injury. However we have the same numbers available as last week? I'm guessing the one back Is Comrie. There is progress being made with the other injuries though with Jak, Todd, KRH, Breen and Bene all training. Bene has to see a specialist before he can step up his training.
